I completely agree with lynninnm and les. I hate overhead bedroom light fixtures and any place we have lived I have immediately replaced the ceiling light, if there was one, with a fan (with no lights). We use the fan year-round. Ceiling lights, no matter the wattage, are cold and harsh and you need additional lamps in the room anyway. We have night table lamps which are similar to the size we have on living room end tables and a floor lamp in the sitting area of the MBR. Warm lighting is so much nicer than a cold overhead light, imo, so enjoy sleeping with a fan and scrap the ceiling fixture.

I love my bedroom ceiling fan. It's a quiet Hunter white fan with a 3 piece soft marble glass light kit. It bought some pretty nickel and clear pull chains for it. I do have soft side table lamps but sometimes that isn't enough light. I like to see when I vacuum and have the big light on when I clean. While it's great to have your house beautiful, it's also important to have it functional. You can have both. It's SO nice to have the fan on low when you sleep. It's the the best! :)

ok so if I go with the larger pendants, I am now trying to figure out what to use for the main center light in the room? It is the first thing you see as you walk down the hallway in to the master. There is a matching lamp that is the same but wider and larger but I am thinking this would be too matchy matchy. Also, the rough in for the centre light is centred in the hallway but is not centred with the bed against the wall. Worse case scenario we could leave it blank or add a ceiling fan but it would be nice to have something decorative in addition to the pot lights currently there. I was thinking maybe something in a globe form to echo the inner globes on the origami pendants. Ugh I am stuck Help!!
