Comments (6)I think the between the glass grills look cheap too...they look like what vinyl replacement windows would have. My wife said the same thing that sandb said regarding it being a pain to clean the windows. I figure if you have separate pains now and you have been cleaning them then there is going to be no difference in amount of time to clean. Comments (5)First, you need a utility knife and a putty knife to cut away the caulking. Under the caulking, you will fing glazier's points. Little triangle shaped keepers that hold the glass in the space. A flat screwdriver and a small hammer can be used to renove those. The piece of glass will then lift out in one piece, which is MUCH safer! Now, if you break the glass, you will still have to do all the above. Comments (8)By beefing them up, I'm suggesting the grilles be thicker in dimension. You cannot divide the current grille because 'lights" in windows are never that ratio of height versus width. You're the one trying to turn a ranch into a farmhouse. A lot of professionals would not recommend that....See Morerocketmomkd
