I can't wait either. I've been checking regularly, and have even signed up for MS paint email on the Home Depot website, but I haven't seen any annoucements. Just "March". The website is beginning to show the testers. The last I saw there were 3 colors listed, but not in stock. Unfortunately, there was only the name, not a picture of the color. I loved the old Kmart and Sherwin Williams colors too. I didn't care as much for the Lowes colors. I hope she brings some of the original colors back. I'm working on a kitchen and I'm hesitant to pick a wall color until I see what the new line offers. : 0 )

When MS launched the new color line at Lowes, she did a show with the new color chart and brought in her favorite colors from the line. I wonder if she'll do this again with Home Depot. I hope so.

When she had her line at Lowes, it was mixed using the Valspar paint bases whereas her Kmart/Sears line had it's own branded paint bases. I'm guessing the paint quality will be middle of the road. Of course you could always have your swatches color-matched in better quality paint.

If I had known a few years ago that her paint lines wouldn't last that long, I would have kept swatches for all the colors. I only have a handful of the SW and Kmart ones. I'm definitely going to grab one of each color this time around. Who knows how long the color line will last.

Valspar paint is not really up there with any quality coatings

The Home Depot I go to already has the Martha Stewart color collection. I'm in Southeast Michigan. I don't know when it arrived, but I was there last weekend and so were the paint chips!

I am in Western MA and the guy told me tomorrow (3/2). I have always had the colors matched at Ben Moore. Happily, I have a near-complete set of the K-mart chips and the FPE fandecks, too. Never liked the others as much.

I just went to HD (Allen, TX) tonight and YES! They had the paint chips in! They're large (maybe 3x6) with a sticker on the back, so you can stick them on to the wall or maybe an idea board. My HD didn't have any booklets yet, you know the ones with the pictures and sample color schemes.

The cards have symbols on them, and from the display, it looks like all the colors with the same symbol coordinate with each other. It's a bit different than the specific color combos MS has had in past lines.

Anyway, I selfishly grabbed one of each color to create my own deck. I can't wait to see if something works in my space.

I was mistaken. The strips on the back are not stickers, they ARE the coordinated colors. I apologize, I didn't really look at them closely or bother to read the back. You know what happens when you ASSUME.

How would you describe the colors/ palette?

Looking for greens/ oranges/ golds/ browns.

I haven't seen the palette but I heard that Azko/Nobel which bought ICI/Dulux is making the new Martha Paints for Home Depot.

Makes sense because HD stocks Glidden. Glidden and Glidden Professional are the brand names that Azko is now pushing since it streamlined the number of its brands and retired the brand name ICI/Dulux.

If you liked the MS SW line then you may want to check out the new MS HD line - here's why:

I'm, not saying that some of the colors are exactly the same as in the SW line since I don't remember what all of the colors look like exactly, but, I can say that yes some of them are the same color & same name based on what's in my basement.

Some of the names vary slightly like instead of Oolong at SW, it's Oolong Tea at HD but it's def. worth checking out if you liked the SW line. I counted over 30 names that were excactly the same or almost (some of the colors known to me and are the same) and I'm only 1/2 way through the HD line.

***Came up w/ app. 64 potentially same colors.

HD Enamelware, ThunderheadMilk Pail and Sandpiper matched my MS SW paints of the same name in my basement.

HD Miso and Barn look pretty much the same as SW Miso Red and Barn as well as Glass of Milk, Bakery Box, Picket Fence and Kamalata Olive.

They have it at my HD but.... Ho Hum. I used Behr througout my house with no issues. I see they dropped Ralph Lauren...how long till they drop Martha? I also got a 5 gallon mismatch of Valspar Off White for my garage for $25 at Lowes. It has held up well and I would not hesitate to try in the house either.

Kashka - The chips look much the same as the K-Mart ones ... typically slightly muted or dusty, lots of blues and greens.

One reason I don't use her colors is that I'm not fond of muddy colors.
