they do make red polish...you need a shoe store to get it, though. but my mom used to use lip stain (not regular lipstick, but the kind that actresses and uhm, 'dancers' wore- though I think they now make something for the regular market) I've found that a bit of goo gone on a q-tip will take a lot of those black marks off without messing with the color of the leather (thankfully) but if you've marred the surface of the leather, a red sharpie followed by red polish should do it.

Organizing is the best. I have taken over the hall closet and have most of my shoes stacked in their original boxes. I also have a shoe rack in my office closet for some of the leftover shoes that my DD's sometimes use. In the basement, I have a two-tier rack for boots etc. For some reason, these don't work as good for me.

There are two types of concrete 1. Concrete that HAS CRACKED 2. Concrete that WILL CRACK The stress control joints are there for the HUMAN to dictate WHERE the cracks occur. If you did NOT put them in...then the concrete will dictate it for you. And it will CONTINUE to dictate until someone jacks out the concrete. It will NEVER STOP cracking. The warehouse I work in has control joints every 20 - 25 feet (250,000sf warehouse)...and the distance for those joints are WAAAAAAAY too far apart. They are SOOOO far apart the concrete is cracking (spider web) to the point of needing epoxy crack control every year. More and more issues are popping up every year. The building is only 12 years old. You should see how much fun those floors are for the maintenance guys.
