Yes, there is just something about those roosters ... Junkinthetrunk, LOL the Flintstones might not be politically correct these days, but I still love 'em. Used to watch that cartoon with my parents and sister ... back when there were only 3 stations on our tv. The Flintstones rocked in Bedrock! Lucky, I agree, they are happier living here lol. But I do think that some objects find us, rather than we find them, I know it's kooky, but I don't care :-) Vickie, your guest room sounds really unusual and nice. Share a pic with us? She sent some neat succulents, too, and I'll post pics when I finally get it all planted into the wire wagon. For now they're planted here and there .... I've seen The Queen & Little Miss Sunshine & if I'm remembering right & the gods of Netflix smile on me, I'll see The Departed & Babel before the Oscar telecast. And miracle of miracles, Pan's Labyrinth is actually playing in this little burg, so I think I'll run out & see it this week before it disappears. Don, I thought the Illusionist was terrific too.

Watched most of the ones stated earlier... LOVED Autumn Rush... watched it a couple of times. LOVED Amelia.... was really really good. Don't know how they painted on all her freckles! tee hee. LOVED Avitar. Want to see it again and then buy it when it comes out. He is just not that into you was kinda funny. Journey to the center of the earth was kinda good too. Will watch it again. Old ones.... Abyss. Very very good. Not scary at all. Kinda liked Twilight. Will watch it again to see if I can get it better. Multiplicity.... LOVE that.... And Big. Love just about anything with Tom Hanks in it. So many good movies.

I rented "The Kite Runner." It was as fantastic as the movie! Evoked all the same emotions, the beauty of the story was not just maintained, it was honored. The music fit the mood and the setting wonderfully. The actors were great. You do have to read most of, subtitles for everything set in Afghanistan or Pakistan, which is about 75-80%. I will probably buy it eventually so I can enjoy it over and over. I might even buy it for my mother for Mother's Day (I know she liked the book). It was just... WOW! Next time I get a day to myself, I'll rent "Atonement."
