Alex and I liked it, didn't think the ending was that bad either. The only thing I didn't like were the stupid young girls going in and out of the theater constantly through the movie, talking, giggling, opening the door for what seemed like forever while they talked and giggled. It was really distracting and annoying.

LOVED it. Yes, gallons and gallons of that fake blood. Saw an interview where Alan Rickman said it was everywhere--even in his underwear. The music wasn't strange (if you've seen Sweeney Todd before, it was pretty much done exactly by the script). One of the things I really liked about it was that the actors did their own singing. No, none of them are professionals singers, but they worked hard to prepare for their roles, and it was refreshing that the singing voices actually matched the speaking ones. Can you tell I really hate when they bring in pro's to dub in the singing on musicals? It's probably not for everyone, but having seen it Saturday, I now can't wait for it to come out on video so I can watch it a few more times. I thought it was really well-done, and Johnny Depp was, as always, brilliant in the part. He's such a good actor, and so rarely gets enough credit for his skill. Just don't go expecting a bright and cheery, feel-good musical (it's no Sound of Music or Mary Poppins--LOL)

You are so right phoggie. I just got home from seeing it. The non-religious person would say its a religious story but it is not bible. It has good thoughts & values, its not a tear jerker at all. They have God playing a black women, then a male Indian. I found it quite confusing with all the flashbacks. I would not go again if it were free. The ladies I went with seemed to enjoy it but I don't see it as a "Christian" movie. My friends preacher was against people going to the movie. It is definitely a work of fiction. Some parts were good and kinda normal but other parts were like a fantasy. If you do go, let us know what your thought.

In 2002 I really wanted copper appliances Just how much do you want these? Is it worth a lot of money to you? Copper isn't exactly cheap. But the good news is that it is easy to work with. And most appliances are pretty straight-forward to disassemble. If you are sufficiently determined, you can take apart the front panel of your appliance and have a local metal fabricator replicate it out of copper. In some cases, you can also buy panel-ready appliances that would make this whole exercise a little easier. And in rare instances, you might be able to convince the appliance manufacturer to sell you a copper panel. I believe Bluestar has (or had) a "precious metal" series. I am not sure if it was available for all of their models. But I have seen that they can make copper oven doors. They look gorgeous. And of course, copper sinks are thing. Just head over to Dino Rachiele's website. So yes, if this is your highest priority wish-list item, then it absolutely is something that can be customized. As with most non-standard design choices though, it'll cost you. If you do go this route, you owe us pictures! :-)
