Okay Kathya, thanls for the info. What you describe isn't something I've seen at any of our local WalMart garden-centers during the past year. Every black-pot rose they've had has been a 2-gallon, with a 3" by 6.5" photo-&-info-&-price card stapled to the top edge of the pot, and also a 2.5" by 1" UPC price-sticker on the pot's side. The sticker also includes the name of the rose. (WalMart is getting smarter - if the main tag gets lost, the UPC sticker still identifies the rose.) If you saved the "cardboard" tag with the photo & name, take it back to the store and ask to speak to the garden manager. (It'd be a good idea to phone first to make sure he/she is there.) The garden-manager might be able to give you info on the how to contact the rose's Supplier. This would be a lot easier if the rose had been WalMart's brand. I mention all this because certain "discount" rose-wholesalers (such as Sexton, Paramount, and DeWars/Scotsman) have a bad habit of re-naming existing rose-varieties with whatever sort of name they think will help sell the rose. Some examples are "DeWar's Scottish Blue" hybrid-tea ...and the "Surprise" floribunda purchased by Name-That-Rose forum poster Angelsmell. This is most probably the reason there seems to be no info available on a "Christine Todd Whitman" rose. If that does turn out to be what's going on, getting the Supplier's name from WalMart and then contacting the Supplier might be your best option. But perhaps one of the "ID-Helpers" who hang out in this forum will recognize your rose. When it blooms, can you get some photos of it and post them? (Please include detailed description-info, such as whether it blooms "mostly singly" or in clusters, bloom-size, average petal-count per bloom, fragrance-level, leaf-color and glossiness-level, etc.) Just in case you're interested, here's some info about the person. Rosewitch, England was definitely one of my favorite places I have ever visited. My folks took me there when I was 14, and I remember bits and pieces the Crown jewels, walking amongst the Stonehenge stones (roped off now, vandalism), Stratford upon Avon. Time for me to take my own 14YO. Im trying to think how I can get over there for a whole summer, LOL. Dlynn, I could have worked so much more. I'm a dork. For a moment I couldn't figure out what was so funny about Cox. Why did tishtoshnm get it and I didn't? Ooooohhhhhh. Got it :)! I had suggested the name Arwen and DH said no. He's a die-hard Lord of the Rings fan since childhood. Such a pretty name. Bronwyn (fair breast and dark hair) was a name that came up regularly as she was a character in a book that DH read as a kid. Just weren't sold on it though. We were literally still deciding up until I was wheeled in for my C-section. We said 'No - it's going to be Eleri - we've thought about it too long'. When she came out DH said 'Honey - she has fair skin and dark hair'. I wanted to strangle him. Anele - you got it! The kid is 5 and one of our friends still calls him Glocklin. 'He's not a gun' we keep teling her. He was on meds when he was a baby and CVS was HORRIBLE at getting his name right on the script. Our last name is Todd so guess where it always ended up? I finally gave up on them because I was tired of telling them over and over that Todd is his LAST name not his first and to fix it.

The White House certainly DOES have stlye and beauty, both inside and out! Mrs. Bush did a wonderful job, plus the Oval Office was perfectly done. The gorgeous custom rug complimented everything from the walls to the stained floors and beautiful furniture.
