Thank you so much. So, since I am useless at design and color can you tell me what are considered "clean colors" and muted colors? In my living room I have chocolate sofas and almost back side tables, coffee table. I would guess they are muted?? I like the paint color enough now that I got used to it, but I guess you maybe right that my other items are not working with it. I'll try to post a photo soon. Love your foyer MomtoSethC :-)

Hi, What a cute little house! No worries, sometimes the coloring doesn't come out so well on the monitor and will look completely different in person. I can see why you chose the palette that you have though, it's exactly what I thought before I read your response. We have a 2 story colonial and the color of our siding is very similar to the color you have. We don't have any brick though, so we went with a Certainteed Roof in a medium toned charcoal color that has a touch of the brick color mixed in it. Without the brick the color looks great with the siding; our trim is all white as well. I almost think if you went with a lighter color on the trim it would offer a little more pop to the whole elevation. I know you didn't ask for this next suggestion but I think it would also look cute to have something flanking the door on each side. Usually people have lighting but if that's not possible, maybe you can hang some baskets on hangers or something. I think the brick just needs something more to help it blend in with the rest of the front. I love your landscape and how the gardens are layered with color. Very pretty.

Wow! Thanks for the photos. I'm going to the BM store today, and I was going to look at that fan deck. I have classic colors and color preview, but not the Colonial Williamsburg fan deck. Love the gray cabinets. Did you paint them? If so, what color? I have natural maple which I hate. I'd love to paint, but it is such a huge undertaking, and I also want to paint my kitchen walls, DR walls and ceiling and all wood trim downstairs. I have to get a painter for my living room because of the high ceilings. Also, I'm a senior, and much slower getting up and down that ladder than I used to be :)

I think it would look great, you could just match the wide pale pink stripe on the border. Not sure about SW pinks. I started out with Pittsburg Paints "Stork Pink" in my girls' room and loved it enough to get it matched in SW for the next house we lived in, also a couple of my friends used it for their little girls' rooms after seeing ours. But I think you will need to see the color up against your quilts to be sure, so I would just go down to SW and collect some pink strips to view at home. : )
