Still yawning from tonight's performances though I liked David very much. Was very disappointed with my favorite, Micheal Johns, but he can still touch me here and touch me there. LOL

Also still wondering where is the stiff competition they keep talking about. They can't seem to avoid saying every episode. They haven't shown us those contestants yet.

I was pretty entertained tonight. I did like a lot of the song choices and that makes a big difference.

I liked both Davids tonight and although Michael John's performance wasn't his best, I still enjoyed it. I think Jason may be going home Weds., I knew someone would say he was karoke-like tonight after hearing him sing. Found out today he sings in one of the restaurants (Hard Rock Cafe, I think) in Branson.

I do think these are a talented bunch of kids. I remember the first few seasons of Idol and boy, oh boy...I'd have to get up and leave when some of them sang. :-)

I liked Luke tonight. Michael Johns was off tune to me tonight. I was surprised they kind of liked him tonight. I liked Jason too, the guy with the dreadlocks. They didn't care for him....still have many to go, it's only been on for 20 minutes here! The guys just don't do it for me this season yet. I do like the younger David, he's really good.

Gwanny...I didn't realize there were 2 Jasons (and 3 Davids!). I liked the dreadlocks Jason, the other was the one that sang "karoke". Don't miss 16 year old David's performance! It was wonderful!

I was busy and didn't pay close attention, but I liked Luke, was surprised by Chikenzie, and would have just given the whole show over to David Archuleta.

How mature and confident young David is. To sing Imagine--that could have turned out to be a very cocky choice. But when one sings it in such a manner that it's every bit as good as the original--WOW! He totally blew me away. If he doesn't win this year, there's something totally wrong with the contest. The rest truly paled in comparison.

I like the young david and david hernandez.
I also like Jason.

I like young David too. Something about his singing just melts me. He finds a song he loves and then he sings it without trying to copy or impersonate. He just has a beauiful voice, and he is only 16. Amazing!

I was pretty bored too except with young David. He is so adorable and can sure sing. His version of "Imagine" was beautiful.

The guy with the dreadlocks seems very nervous, he needs to let go of that if he's going to keep going.

Does anyone like Robbie Carrico? He's from Melbourne, Florida...just minutes from where I live. I have to cheer him on, as he's the hometown star. I'm not a rock fan but I do think Robbie has a very good voice. I'm very interested in hearing him do different types of songs as the competition moves forward.

I loved all the guys last night except Danny Noriega. Michael Johns was great on the chorus but kinda off on the rest of the song.

One question-the guy with long hair, Robbie Carrico, mentioned he was in a boy band that once toured with Britney Spears, so they must have been somewhat big and popular. I thought American Idol was only amateurs? I doubt he'll be the winner, but...doesn't seem fair?

Teresa, at least 2 of the contestants this year have had record contracts (Michael Johns and Carly) and David A. won Star Search when he was 11 or 12. The rules are you can't have a record contract when you try out for AI. I thought it might not be fair either, but some of these kids are in their late 20's and it would be hard to be a good singer and not have had some success along the way. It's actually probably pretty hard to have had a contract at one time and then have to face the judges criticism every week. I think it'll work out fairly.
