Hemp Tofu

They were giving samples of this in the store today:

It was surprisingly tasty just kind of grille-ish in an electric frying pan. There are a lot of whole hemp seeds in it which gave it a toasty taste and more interesting texture.

So. Since I have a GF and pescatarian duo (and I'm allergic to fish), I'm always looking for non-meat, preferably non-soy for other reasons, proteins that I can feed to both of them. Luckily neither is picker than the one issue each, both of which are for solid health reasons.

What's great is that help is one of the select few plant foods that is a complete protein (along with chia, quinoa, et al.)

This isn't tofu. I'm sure it's made using an analogous process, so it's tofu, but it's different. I haven't gotten my hands into the form in the package yet because I hate to do it just to describe it. It's very firm though. The package itself looks more like tempeh than tofu, though the contents are white and caked and more tofu-y.

Any suggestions on how to use it? Yes, of course, grilled on toast or crumbled on pasta. :) I was wondering about interesting main dishes to try. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and creativity!
