YES!!! It worked! The YUCKIE couple is GONE! I was ever so happy about that. And...on her BIRTHDAY...how sad... I know the editing makes it difficult to know exactly what happens at the end...how close it really is, etc. But this one had me guessing the entire time. I think we all knew that the Father and Daughter team was in the lead the entire time. They got the first flight out of Japan which was just enough to make them first at every clue box and the first to the Pit stop. Rachel and TK came in second, even with the Speed Bump! Good for them. I like their attitude. After they ran through all the FireWorks and were on their way back to the train station, TK said something like, 'if we come in last at least we went out with a bang'. I think GrandPa is getting tired. His Grandson carries his back pack most of the time...nice boy! When they had to get to the tea house (?) and not many cab drivers knew how to get there, I thought they would be sunk...we all remember the Grandsons 'issues' with directions and finding his way... All three teams picked the 'earth' challenge which looked easy. If you can just set your mind to it, forget how much it's going to hurt your feet, get it over with, you're home free. At least they were not hot coals. What do you think made the difference? Do you think it was Matt and Jens decission to take the subway & bus to the park when the other teams took cabs or, was it the hissy fit Matt pitched between the subway and finding the bus? Did you notice how many people on the street around them were watching them fight? I felt badly for Matt after they lost. He cried and, she took that exact moment in time to analyze their relationship. But after all...it was HER BIRTHDAY! So, now we are down to the final. I think we all like the teams left. I hope next weeks show is two hours...I hate to see it come to an end. Do you think we will have another Amazing Race in the spring. I hope so. sooey

OH My...I really HATE that the Amazing Race has come to an end...I will miss it, but WHAT A GREAT ENDING! TK & Rachel won in a very close and exciting race to the finish mat. I thought the challenges were good ones. Too bad that the Grandson messed up the reading of the clue at the sports store. Having to go back for the bag of supplies they forgot really messed them up. It seemes like they could have been in second place at that point, ahead of TK & Rachel, if they had not made that rather huge error. Fish guts, yuck, but it seemed that both teams found the little clue inside the fish cavity very quickly. TK & Rachel found the crab with the clue band just in the nick of time...before giving up and going back to the fish gut. Climbing the ice wall was OK. The Father and Grandfather did it well. TK & Rachel both did well but, both the Grandson and Christine had a hard time with it. Then the beautiful hellicopter ride across Alaska...what a thrill for all of them. Even at this point all three teams were close. It was the final challenge that they had to figure out that was the killer. I was so confused by it. I did not pay attention to the directions so I had no idea what they were trying to accomplish. I thought Christine would make short work of it, but she got bogged down. Rachel stayed calm and was able to figure it out first. TK & Rachel were on CBS Early Show this morning. They were cute and just like they had been all during the Race. They won a MILLION DOLLARS! They did not show any other teams. This was a good race. This was the first one I remember that all the teams were likable...except for Jen & Matt. I remember that I did not like the first couple that was eliminated...they were mean to their donkeys. and that one girl who was soooo annoying while trying to get the camel milk...but other than that, everyone else was just fine. Or, am I forgetting someone. Oops...I forgot about the Blonds. They were not very nice. It's all over...till the next one starts... sooey who will be knitting next Sunday night...

Yep, we watched. I was impressed with the country guy, after he got over berating his poor wife. They HAD to know ahead of time that this was a race and she would need to be able to move fast and she is going to have a lot of trouble with that, it's plain to see. I think the cheese thing was a real test. I think they had to carry those useless things up the hill but I don't think they HAD to use them to carry the cheese down, at least not on their backs. I think sledding them down was probably the manner the locals would use, don't you? That may have been what they really were designed for, because as backpacks, they were worthless. I thought it showed some real ingenuity on the country guy's part to go that route. I really hope someone washed off all those cheeses, though, ew! I LOVE the little brothers! They are a riot and fun and strong and brave. And the FA's, too, loved her swan dive off the dam, gutsy broad! She didn't scream or anything. I hope all their travel experience comes in handy in airports. I hope the Dad doesn't pull his groin muscle any worse, that'll knock you out of a race for sure. I like the mother/son team but I wonder how long he'll last, he's very emotional. Phil signing was VERY cool! They'll have some challenges ahead, though, during certain kinds of road blocks, if he doesn't read lips. The brother/sister lawyer team- they really tried to pull a fast one, didn't they? Were they going to get off the train at some point but got busted first? I was a little distracted by something right then and might have missed it. The older married couple, I think they ticked off the cheerleaders (or was it the flight attendants) already, by lying to them about a train or something. It looks like a fun race is shaping up!

Oh, I was so bummed out about who got eliminated! I just loved their synchronized senses of humor. "A watched pot never boils!" and they spin around and show it their backs, I howled! I think I need to go brush up on my division skills, just in case they're ever needed. I'm beginning to see what you all warned about with the "I'm just a girl" from Big Brother. Geez. Way to use your immaturity as a weapon and as an excuse! That's such a turn-off. "I'm sorry I'm not as smart as you, wa wah wah!" Ick. I'm changing my minds again about the guys from KY- while they are still too loud for my tastes, they are rocking the race and getting along very well at the same time. I wish I could say that about the Border Patrol guys, they bicker too much like kids. Too bad about the bus/window thing, that really seemed odd, wonder what caused that window to break. And it didn't look "fixed", either, so why the 2 hour delay? Good episode, though, I thought. You?
