Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to make sure I'm all ready to go by 8. Geez, first Biggest Loser starts another season, then Survivor, and now AR. Love it.

I missed survivor Thursday due to my dog having cluster seizures. We had him at the emergency care center. It was quite an ordeal!

Wow, it was a good first show and I like the way it ended. That cheese haul was exauhsting to watch. There would be no way that I could walk up that 'hill' let alone, walk back down it with 50 lbs of cheese on my back.

It seems that we have some good teams this season. Some of them are a bit different from what we have seen in the past...all the more interesting.

I liked it. What did all of you think?

I agree with all you said, Sooey. I think I'm going to like this season from what I saw last night. It takes me a while on any of these shows to learn who's who. It's a shame that a few couples are eliminated before I get to know them. The only ones who really annoyed me last night were the 'country' folks. He sounded like a jerk, and she came off as a crybaby. Hopefully, that will improve.

I enjoyed it. The cheese ordeal made me tired just watching! I'm not fond of slippery slopes, especially with 50 lbs of cheese on my back!

I wasn't too surprised at the couple who were eliminated, it seemed as if they spent a great deal of time bickering and pointing fingers at one another. Not usually a good way to start out a long and arduous journey.

Yeah, I was certainly satisfied with the team that was eliminated last night. I do think the "country folks" will be the next to go, though. Or perhaps the flight attendants. They don't seem too bright.

LOVE the team that finished first last night, and we were so impressed that Phil was able to sign to them that they were team number one! Gotta love Phil!!

Yep, we watched. I was impressed with the country guy, after he got over berating his poor wife. They HAD to know ahead of time that this was a race and she would need to be able to move fast and she is going to have a lot of trouble with that, it's plain to see.

I think the cheese thing was a real test. I think they had to carry those useless things up the hill but I don't think they HAD to use them to carry the cheese down, at least not on their backs. I think sledding them down was probably the manner the locals would use, don't you? That may have been what they really were designed for, because as backpacks, they were worthless. I thought it showed some real ingenuity on the country guy's part to go that route. I really hope someone washed off all those cheeses, though, ew!

I LOVE the little brothers! They are a riot and fun and strong and brave. And the FA's, too, loved her swan dive off the dam, gutsy broad! She didn't scream or anything. I hope all their travel experience comes in handy in airports. I hope the Dad doesn't pull his groin muscle any worse, that'll knock you out of a race for sure.

I like the mother/son team but I wonder how long he'll last, he's very emotional. Phil signing was VERY cool! They'll have some challenges ahead, though, during certain kinds of road blocks, if he doesn't read lips.

The brother/sister lawyer team- they really tried to pull a fast one, didn't they? Were they going to get off the train at some point but got busted first? I was a little distracted by something right then and might have missed it.

The older married couple, I think they ticked off the cheerleaders (or was it the flight attendants) already, by lying to them about a train or something. It looks like a fun race is shaping up!

I've never watched The Amazing Race before but my sister kept telling me I'd like it so I watched it and loved it! I'll be watching every week.

I enjoyed it also. I haven't picked my favorite team yet, probably after the second or third leg. Very classy of Phil to sign to the mother/son team.
