I liked Steve and Linda but I agree that she didn't seem to be able to keep up with the rest too well. I think he kind of set the tone for her in the first episode when he berated her and she was very wounded by that. It was very sweet though when they both said last night how much they love each other and how money can't buy that. I would have loved to do the paraglide and the segue/segway challenges, way more than a bungee jump! Too bad that wind wasn't cooperating. I probably would have run down the mountain, too, not willing to wait. That dating couple- is English her 2nd language or something? Her boyfriend kept correcting her pronunciation or grammar all night. "AustRIA, not AustraLIA!" lol That was just one of them. When father/son couldn't open the gate, that was pretty funny. And when the father told the stunt guy "don't be scared", I thought the stunt brother was going to go off on him. He looked very offended by that jokey comment. I think the other brother is more laid back and not as snotty. It was a good show, all in all. I know I don't ever want to be clobbered by cakes. That could have been painful.

Here is one reference to it Lindsey. It's from an interview with Mel White from the father/son team. It has been discussed on other boards also. I haven't followed them (the boards) closely. I just hit upon them when Googling for clarification when I see something on the show that I want to understand. KishaÂs sexual orientation was first revealed in an After Elton interview with Mel White, who was eliminated with his son Mike two episodes ago, in which he also said that Luke Adams wanted to be identified as gay on the show. After Luke "found out that Mike and I were being billed as gay, he wanted to be billed as gay," but a producer saidÂand this is Mel paraphrasing a conversation he had with an unnamed producerÂÂNo, weÂre establishing you as what we want you to be established. Oh MY...the Blonds are gone. I was happy to see them go. I did not like their bickering or, their negative vibe. I thought the good listener challenge would be easy...so how could it take the Grandson three hours to finish it? You're right flam, the grandpa is doing great. I just hope we don't have to see his thong again... The counting of the fence pickets was really funny. The Blonds were just dumb...they could not get out of their own way. They were so busy bickering that they could not decide how they would count or who was going to count. The short girl/tall boyfriend were a scream to watch. Again...she was soooo annoying. As far as I was concerned, the grandson won the prize on the counting...he counted stuff he was not sapose to but did not panic or start over...he had it all in his head. When he finished he went back and counted the pickets in the gate and subtracted them from his total...and got it right! Good for him! I was surprised to see that so many of them had a problem with the stilts. It looked easy to me but it must have been waaaay more difficult. Did only two teams complete the stilts?...the goths and the father/daughter? Did the TK & Rachel do the stilts? Why would the father take his shoes off? That looked like it would hurt your feet. Shirley, I'm with you re: the father and his hernia. Enough already. He is acting like a baby about it. Did TK & Rachel come in first? Which ever team it was got a great trip to Japan...lots of good stuff. It was a good show. And...the Blonds are gone! Who do you think will be the next to go? Grandpa & Grandson? Father & Daughter? I'll bet that one of those two teams come in last next week but, it will be a non-elimination round. What do you think? sooey

I thought differently, that AR set it up for Yale to win. The next-to-the-last heat was in a place where he knew the language? That penalty task certainly wasn't up to par as some I've seen in the past, as they were able to get to the next challenge before everyone else was done. So, it looked to me like AR wanted them to have it. I'd seen Jessica and Cody in BB and really did not like them there. But unless it was creative editing on AR, they were respectful of each other throughout this show and supportive. Unlike some contestants in the past who were nasty and sniping the whole way through. By the end, I was rooting for them!

It was just the opposite for me, glenda. although survivor would have ended better if phillip had gone home. And now lil Hantz is suppose to have a not-play-nice strategy. I actually just rolled my eyes while I was typing that. LOL

I like the black twins but was scared they were going home. They don't know how to swim? How can you do the AR and not know?

I like the father and son (cancer survivors) and the black twins. I chuckled when the black twins said they were "deliverymen"-- good sense of humor.

The ONE team that I didn't like, I was soooo unhappy
that they didn't go home. The couple that was in the last three teams. I don't know their names or remember where they are from, maybe New Jersey? They both seem very hateful and she was so sick of having to put on a happy face and talk to the other teams? He said she didn't have any likability factor? I agree. They seem awful, I hope it's all an act. I can't imagine being like that. She said in their real life they don't have any friends and she doesn't care... ugh!

I didn't want to lose the twin doctors that early.

It will be interesting to see how the ones who got the Express Passes deal with giving away the extra one. If I was the team that was 2nd in their 'alliance', I wouldn't count on it.

Yep, during this week's show the team that won the Express Pass even said that they won't necessarily honor the agreement that was made about the second EP, and the previews for next week's show seem to indicate that they are not giving the second EP to the team that should get it per the agreement.

I was not wild about seeing the wholesale 'quitting' of the task. If that happens a lot, I'd hope that the rules get tightened up to limit the practice.

I agree that this shouldn't happen that a group opt out of a task. Could the fireman then gone back and completed the task when they saw they were going to be last?

I haven't picked a favorite yet....but I don't like the Newlyweds at all.......they have an attitude. It was not a good idea to quit the task either....why would anyone want to play Amazing Race and not know how to swim and have fear of heights.....please go on Jeopardy........

Amazing Race should have strict rules....I don't think it is fair!! That was not a very good task in the first place......
