Amazing Race

Just wanted to give a heads up that the Amazing Race is on tonight. I looked in my online tv guide and football IS on CBS at 4pm eastern time, so it could mess up the start time of AR.

Yep, I just check on the football game. Sure messes things up when there's ovetime in the ballgame.

Shoot. The last time I checked, there was only 4min. left in the 4th. quarter and now you tell me they're in overtime. Well, maybe Andy Rooney won't spend too long saying goodbye tonight on 60min. It's his last regular appearance on that show.

Oh My Goodness, what a great ending to a great race! It could have been any of the final 4 teams and I would have been happy. The waxing! Oh My! All that hair and pain! Zev & Justin were the best at that, I laughed out loud! And the drinks! 100 of them! Watching that made my shoulders hurt! I was surprised that the Globetrotters did not do better on the bridge. I guess they are not in such good shape after all. Zev & Justin did so well and were in it, without question...until that dance. I felt sorry for both of them but they never gave up and never found fault with eachother. I liked them and was sorry to see them go. Mallory was a pain. She did a good job with the underwater stuff and in the trailer park but I'll bet that cab driver was about to drive off a cliff with her in the back seat! The Sisters were a good team, did not give up and were able to 'hold it' together until the end. Whew... This was a great season and I'm ready for the next one to start! I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! sooey

The scene with Eva gave me a much better understanding of what its like to have autism. Her explanation of what she goes through was enlightening. Yeah, I got teary eyed, too. It was going to take a lot of pieces falling in place for Bianca ’s plan to work, so i wasnt surprised that she was voted off.Wish it had been Sai. Now Id wouldnt mind if Cedrek goes since he is making it possible for her to stay.

I didnt feel much one way or the other about Chrissy. She should have shut up at tribal council but I think her fate was already sealed. It will be interesting to see how Eva does with her hidden scroll.

It's the same every single week on CBS. Why can't they start the game sooner? No wonder why I hate football. I always have to record CBS on Sunday night and include the news.

Why do they schedule the best shows for Sunday night, when they know there will be a game to mess with the times???

I have to agree with you about Sunday nights. I not only watch Amazing Race, but like to watch Good Wife at 9 and Breaking Bad at 10, not to mention Masterpiece Theater. Masterpiece and BB are run again at a later time and Good Wife is on On Demand, but still.

I'm surprised the The Survivor team went home already. Plus, last night I hit my mute button so many times. I just can't stand to listen to all the whining and silly banter. I know it's to make the show more entertaining but sheesh. The team with Cindy - when they had to go back to the orphanage because of their mistake "I can't do this, I can't do this!" Well, why did you join TAR if you are already crying, "I can't do this!".

I just watch the end of the game to find out what time 60 Minutes starts and then adjust the timer on the DVR so it runs extra long (30 minutes, last night) for TAR and The Good Wife.

I wasn't too upset with who went home, I've never really liked Jenna and her earlier "well, we are better than the other teams" comment rubbed me the wrong way. Ethan kind of showed his butt after Jenna made that mistake, too, but harping on it. No one makes a mistake on purpose, geez.

I was sorry to see the other team go, they seemed very nice and not bickery. I LOVED how the snowboarding guys were the first to read that sign and do the task correctly. :)

I wasn't happy with either team who went home. I like Ethan and the gay guys. Seem like sweet guys. Pays to PAY attention to the finest detail, but I probably wouldn't have noticed either.

Schoolhouse, I agree! I too find myself either muting or leaving the room escpecially when the brother/sister team are bickering. Those two have some serious problems.

Ethan and Jenna each won a million on Survivor, time to let someone else win. Although who knows how much of his winnings went to pay his medical bills.

If I was that brother I would never, ever have done AR with her. She is impossible. I wished they (really just her, but not possible) would have been eliminated. I liked the flight attendants, too. They were really sweet and seem like good souls.

On another forum, someone told me that Cindy was using an inhaler while running back to the orphanage - I didn't notice that. I forgot she had mentioned in the first episode that she had asthma. No wonder she was crying and struggling, still running TAR with asthma isn't such a good idea is it?

Also, the more a team bickers the more camera time they get. ugh.
