Suggestions on Chef's Tools for...

...a young friend in kindergarten?

I will be meeting him for the first time, and I know he likes to cook. There's a Gordman's in town, and they had the cutest little saucepan, a two handled cooking pot, and skillet, all in different primary colors. They are real pans, non-stick, with silicone covered handles and heavy enough to cook real food in, even while goldilocks sized. I also picked up a small oxo spatula (skillet flipper) and wire whisk, spoonula & spatula, silicone brush, some cute fish shaped measuring spoons, a small muffin tin, a ''real'' kid-sized heavy silicone rolling pin, and a small melamine batter bowl. All I can think I'm missing are some dry measuring cups, a wooden spoon and a liquid measuring cup. I decided I wanted real tools; something he could use for years, and not for ''babies'', IFYKWIM! (There's no knife or cutting board.) Oh, and I have a small red apron to tuck into the bag, with pockets across the front, which I'm fairly certain will fit him.

What am I missing? A fun timer perhaps?

Also, does anyone have suggestions on how to pack this to present it to him? All I can think of is a cooler bag!
