Do I need to continue backsplash onto adjoining wall?

I don't have pics handy to help show my situation...if necessary, I will get to my computer (I'm using my iPhone now) to upload some...

For now, I will try and explain my dilemma...

I have purchased the white subway tiles from Lowe's and do not have any bullnose edges or corners to use...and I'm trying to avoid using them.

On one end of my under cabinet backsplash I will be butting up against a window moulding so I won't need anything special. At the other end of the under cabinet backsplash it meets an adjacent wall. Is it acceptable to stop at that corner and not extend the tile on to the adjacent wall to the front edge of the countertop?

I sure hope this makes sense!?!?!

Thanks for reading and any advice y'all might have too!
