how big is your sink, and why?

Cabinet maker is making up final plans and wants to have a decision on sink size (he makes the base 4" bigger than the size of the sink).

I will be getting a soapstone one bowl farm sink.

Currently I have a stainless top mount 30" two bowl, and I had been thinking a 30" one bowl would be plenty big for cookie sheets etc, but I read here about lots of people with 33" or 36" or even bigger, and I know this is my chance to go for the gusto, so to speak.

DH wants a sink "a small man could take a bath in", but I'm not willing to sacrifice the counter space for anything bigger than 36"....do I really need to?

How big is your sink and do you like it?

Thanks!
