It was sunny all day here too! Beautiful day. I washed bedding and put it on the line, and it dried in no time. No freezing solid!

I turned the rest of the roast into hot beef sandwiches (on my homemade bread of course). Topped with peas, and broccoli on the side. Comfortably full, and going to make my tea when hubby is finished doing the dishes. :)

Left overs of some sort......there are several choices.
I am looking forward to eating the rest of the roasted broccoliflower and the mac and cheese.
DH will more than likely eat the rest of the beef dip meat with flour tortillas and Anaheim peppers from last night.

I'm glad you had a pretty day, Jas. It was good here and I had to turn the heat on so we could shower. Got to be up early (5:00) to be at VA by 8:00.

Wow, Glenda--two margaritas?? Aren't they usually pretty big? Maybe she just lost her job so she doesn't have to go back to work.But if she's driving, I'd head in the opposite direction!! Wish we could find a good Mexican restaurant without having to drive all the way into town.

I had a hot ham and cheese sandwich from Hardee's and a bowl of tomato soup. Cheryl brought me the sandwich. She and Amber and a friend are decorating sugar cookies. I have received about 3 or 4 phone calls asking questions :) I am puppy sitting, five of them here including Izzi.

Nothing. The kids were grazing all day. If I made dinner they would barely touch it. There are enough leftovers in the fridge if anyone gets hungry.

I'm not much of one for eating pizza. Some of my family consider that a crime. But every once in a while, I get a craving for it......that was today. So my supper was pizza!!

I'm all for eating leftovers. In fact, I deliberately cook so that I have plenty. And for the most part, it doesn't bother me to eat the same thing for 2, 3, or even 4 days in a row.

Paula, I forgot today was a holiday. I remember when my daughter was young. Seems like she ate all day long when she was out of school for a holiday or snow days. And what a nice holiday from the kitchen for you, too.

Shirley, Harry doesn't mind eating the same things either, but I get the guilts for not making something new. Enjoy the pizza!

I'm with you Shirley. I don't care if I eat the same thing several days in a row. DH will go two days, maybe three. I'm lucky that way. I like to cook, but I hate the clean-up. We went to Bone Fish tonight because we had a $20.00 gift certificate that recently expired and didn't want to push our luck by waiting too long. I hated to go because we're going out Wednesday night, Friday night and sunday night. I had Book Club this morning, Bridge this afternoon...went grocery shopping in between and then went to dinner tonight. It was a full day. Glad I didn't have to clean up the kitchen to boot.

We packed up the motor home this morning and headed back to Naples for a few days. Took Carol SWFL home and were back here and set up before it got dark.

We had sandwiches on the road around 2 so tonight we had a late dinner of chicken pot pie and pot stickers. It tasted good and was easy to fix.
