It's the one with canoeing??? or rowing????

What other activities does it include and the name of it.

Oh and where can you find it?

Outdoor Challenge! It's a ton of fun! We found ours at a local gaming shop. I haven't seen it at Target or WalMart.

Pachy cactipes is considered a subspecies of rosulatum. They do best in a very porous potting mix. If you want to bulk them up quickly then give them more root room and when they have achieved a nice size you can slow them down in a small pot. During the summer they can be watered daily as long as it is warm: 80+ day and 60+ night. They easily tolerate a nice, long dry dormant period when they should be kept cool and only sprinkled occasionally to keep the roots from dessicating. The leaves will drop. I keep my cactipes in a garage that stays b/w 38 and 55F. In the spring, you can start them indoors or in a greenhouse. DO NOT water heavily until at least a few leaves have fully opened. Flower buds often form before leaves appear. Aeration must be exceptional for all Pachys otherwise roots sit in stagnant soil and these plants do not tolerate it well at all. Stay away from peat completely. If the stems are not turgid then either the root system is underdeveloped or is dying. A healthy Pachy has firm stems even during drought. Just remember that they love heat + water. Anything less than 70's day temps, you should reduce watering. The only exceptions should be P. namaquanum which is opportunistic, and P brevicaule/ eburneum which are alpine species and seem to prefer slightly more watering in the winter despite what you read, in my experience. My DH and I are seniors also and we got our wii fit plus for Christmas. We really love it! I think you can actually try it at places like Walmart and Best Buy. At first I thought I wouldn't like the 'cartoon' like mii people, but it sort of makes it more fun. There is yoga, strength, aerobics, balance, and some really silly but fun things to do. You can flap your arms like a chicken and land on different posts until you land on a ship. Yes, it's silly but you are moving your arms. Another game is step aerobics with a line of other mii people. The Hoola Hoop is fun and works your waist. There is jogging through the little mii town. A punching bag game to work your arms. There is a bicycle exercise (you step as if you are on a bicycle).My favorite game is the Obstacle Course that has you running, jumping and dodging objects. And oh so much more. You can do a mix of whatever you feel like doing. I do about 30 minutes nearly every day. You will need wii fit plus, the console to play it, and a balance board. It is a fixed price of about $300, but if you shop around you may find a store offering a bonus of a gift card or something extra. It is definately a good investment. And if you have children or grandkids over, they can do the exercises also because they are so much fun. You can go to nintendo wii online and see real people including us 'more mature people' doing the exercises. Go for it! Linda Leaf

We took all the game disks out of the cases and put them into a binder (it has sleeves/pages with slots for disks), which takes up MUCH less space than the cases. We keep the cases themselves in a box in the basement, just in case we need them later. I attempt to keep the controllers in a basket on the shelf under the TV, but they usually just end up on the floor. The guitars for Guitar Hero are in a tall basket in the corner. Fortunately all of this is in our basement playroom, so when it's a mess it doesn't bother me too much.

We have the Wii and the Wii Fit Plus. (Wii costs $150 & Wii Fit Plus (exercise/yoga one is $100) Will it help you lose weight? Well...I think it's a great supplement in that you are moving around instead of sitting around your house/watching TV/reading etc, but I don't see people losing a lot of weight with it, unless you are starting at zero exercise and use it faithfully. Wii Fit Plus has a nice system that can weigh you, set a goal of weight loss, then keep track of the calories you burn per exercise you do. The best part is, it's in the privacy of your own home so no one can see you mess up a move or look silly! I think you might get decent results playing the Wii and doing some additional things-walking in your neighborhood, lifting light weights etc. Plus watching the calories. Fun stuff I know! lol We also have a game called "Just Dance" and it's really fun. You have to follow the dance moves of the person on the screen. I think there are 30 songs and you can do the short or long version (entire song).

Interesting...My I could SWEAR my son's is called Outdoor Adventures, but when I google it it comes up as Outdoor Challenge - maybe the name has changed since Christmas? Anyhoo, it is soooooo much fun! There's canoeing and running and jumping and snowboarding and rollerblading and...lots of stuff we haven't even "unlocked" yet!

yup the one linked above is it. i saw a few on the shelves at targat sunday and was tempted but i'll wait for sam's club to get some, they run cheaper. plus we have a bunch of games and have almost become bored using the wii...maybe i'll get back into tonight lol. wii fit is alot of fun too as is dance dance revoluion. ~ liz

Yep, Outdoor Challenge. Just got it a couple weeks ago. It's lots of fun. I can't get the hang of the kayaking though. Love the tube sliding, the log-jumping, jumproping, and the mine-cart racing!

G, I don't think it has fishing, but it does have a seesaw game and it does have kayaking. There are sooooo many games for all age ranges.

And beware, if you play too many jumping games, you won't be able to walk the next day. Don't ask me how I know this...
