Docs appt tomorrow.......

Well my lovely lump (the big one) and one that is only about a inch high that runs the length of my scar has not gone down any......so will see what she says tomorrow. Also I am sure (maybe not though as I didn't think she would check blood last time) they may do blood work again....but I can truly tell that my blood is great so maybe they won't poke me again.....I still look like a user from my time in the hospital and don't need any more marks.....feeling good though just ready to wear my jeans again at this point I don't see it happening any time soon......Stacy

Thanks Glenda.....I am sure they will...I just know that they are going to have these lumps go down or I won't be wearing my clothes again ever!!! Stacy

HI guys and thanks....since the doc read off the pills and amounts she has me taking I am just guessing if I was to call today she would say no she wanted me to keep taking them..and in lite of what Carol said that my iron is still not as great as I thought it was...I will contiune them as bad as I hate taking them... Gosh annette....I can'ttake them on a empty stomach when I do I get sooo sick...I have to have something in my stomach.....so I do take them with water though but about 30 mins of eating something.....And Leslie she told me it was from a blood clot not the riding and was suprised it was just now starting to bleed..(since it is old blood) but it sure is painfull....course she said it would be...and said itw ould be like when Ihad a period..I told her that it sucked because I didn't have pain with my periods..and now I am....okay no more whining I know that in a few more weeks and yearsto come I will be sooo grateful I had this done.....Stacy

Connie, I am glad to hear your DH passed his cardio stress tess. Have the Dr.'s checked your DH for Meniere's. I have provided a link for you. My cousin and my Aunt both had this and suffer periods of light headness and dizziness. I used to be the Queen of dizziness but mine relates back to fluid in my ear. When I was a kid our old family doctor made me take Dristan tablets all time to dry up the fluid. Now just taking a daily diruretic fixed that problem but sometimes I still suffer from serious bouts of vertigo and other times just light headed dizziness. I am prone to ear infections too which doesn't help any. I hope he your DH finds out what is wrong soon. Feeling light headed and dizzy all the time is not a good way to feel. The worst part, for those whom it troubles, is the grinding. That takes place, while one is frozen at that part of one's face. But that happens before they put on the temporary. When it comes time to replace it with the permanent one - that's a piece of cake! No big deal ...trust me. Approach your trip tomorrow with - equanimity. When it's over ... you'll wonder what on earth you were worried about! Your dentist is ... your friend - says he, who seldom has a hard time at the dentist's. In almost all cases ... the worst part of visiting the detist (that came out as almost "detest" - sorry) dentist (that's "d e n t i s t", O.K.?) is getting ourselves all worked up into a stew prior to the execution. That's "execution" as "getting your plan worked through to completion" ... what did you think that it meant?. Good wishes for an easy day tomorrow! ole joyful

Hi all. Well I made it through the appt yesterday and am doing ok. Not much pain at all and the swelling is going down nicely. For some reason I have been sleeping alot both yesterday and today. Im not on any pain meds except an occasional tylenol. Im hoping to go out with a friend tomorrow just to see a movie and run an errand or two. Thanks for all the good thoughts.

Thanks Leslie I sure hope so...I get really weird scars not really weird but I get scar tissue easy and keloids so this is realy bothering me.......Hopefully she will have good news about them tomorrow...STacy

Stacy, ask your Dr. tomorrow about massaging the scar area with a lotion, and moving the tissue around, to keep it loose. When I had my arm crushed/broken in a maching at work, and they did surgery to fix it, they kept the scar tissue from clumping up by massaging in little circles over the area.

i just have about given up NOT having to give blood everytime i walk in either dr's office, lol...thank goodness i have a good vein...

Thanks everyone. Leslie I will do that...Susan...that is what is so bad in the hospital no one even wanted to take my blood cuz my veins are just so bad.....Inever get blood drawn with just one poke.....I wish I could...Brian had to get his done yesterday and one poke and man his blood comes flying into the tube....not mine....dang it! LOL Stacy

Ack! I hate even reading about your veins Stac, that's the same trouble I have. They call in a half dozen nurses and techs trying to get an IV in me. McCloud is like Brian. You can see his vein from clear across the room practically. ugh!
