a late summer recipe to recommend

Hi all --

The garden has been producing loads of cherry tomatoes, and so last night I dug out an old recipe that I remembered was good but hadn't made in a while. It was even better than I had remembered!

Basically you take a whole mess of cherry tomatoes (about a pound), put them face up in a 9x13 baking pan, drizzle with oil, add some chopped garlic, and completely cover with a mix of plain breadcrumbs and parmesan. Roast in a 400 degree oven for about 25 minutes, then add hot pasta right into the baking pan, drizzle with more olive oil and some sliced basil, and mix around until you get pure, gooey, toasted, cheesy, tomato goodness! I used a mix of regular cherry tomatoes and sungolds, which gave it a nice sweetness...

Here's a link to the recipe... Note that for the 1 pound of cherry tomatoes I used 3/4 of a pound of pasta, so the ratio of tomato to pasta would be a little higher...
