it too - but have missed some when I have been

that's sad thing about pbs...if the station runs out of funds, then off the show goes, or is repeated to death...

I watched Doc Martin last night on my PBS station.He was sitting in his kitchen with a female doctor he had a history with. Suddenly Louisa was at the door and was obviously pregnant.He had mentioned going back to London to work.

There is another season you are yet to see. Don't want to share the story and ruin such. They are also saying Doc Martin will have another season. It seems to take them 2 years to write, but compared to our shows I think the writing is great and worth the wait.

This show has had one of the higest ratings seen. I can't imagine PBS letting it go, but then the costs could rise too in getting it on board. The EU stations usually get our shows a year later and we get their's later too.

OK, thanks everyone. I'll watch for it next month, Caran. Wouldn't want to miss any of it, keep hoping he quits being such a social misfit!

Yes we do have to contend with PBS funding ( and really, you can do that by buying a CD for yourself or someone) Double bonus that way.

Martin Clunes (Doc Martin) has had to work hard at pitching his ideas. He has had a stop and start career but we can say "huzzah" to him for his persistance because his talent and writing have saved him.

We live in Toronto and are currently able to watch the new season on Vision TV - in Canada of all places. We are a few episodes in. And, don't worry, you will still get "your" Doc Martin!

So glad this post was started. Just today, I've begun watching the first season on hulu.com...sure do like it. :)

Louisa is pregnant? I have a lot of catching up to do.
