yep. I didn't like it when Martin's aunt died, but the actress wanted to move on, & what can you do?

I saw an earlier post about the show on KT this summer. DH and I just started watching it a month or so ago on Netflix. I am in the first season and we really enjoy it. Love all the oddball characters.

We've watched all the series and waiting patiently for the last.

I love Doc Martin and hate to see that it will have it's last season.

I'm also waiting for the next chapter in the lives of those facinating folks in Cornwall. I've watched the repeats on Netflix and often when there is nothing interesting on I catch another look at Doc Martin. Thanks for letting me know they will return in January.

I like the show, now...at first I was put off by Doc Martin's behavior, didn't like that man, at all...then I looked up an interview with Martin Clunes..nice guy, nothing like Doc Martin...now I see him as a good actor and can enjoy the show...silly, I know.

In the very first series, Martin smiled once in a while. He is very involved with animals, and hating that dog is hard for him.

It was hard for us to watch Doc hate that gorgeous dog because he was our dog's doppelganger.

I've liked the show, the setting, the characters. I don't know if I've seen it all. Last I remember Luisa had the baby, but they weren't getting along well. Was that where the story left off?

I saw him in another pbs series, he is playing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, I had to look twice to make sure it was him lol. He really looks different in that.

I liked the Doc Martin series for a while then lost interest in it....I'm not sure why...but I thought about the boots first too when I read the title *snork. :)
