Replacing all Floors with LVP and Carpet - Please Help!
Comments (7)Renovations can certainly be stressful when you’re not sure where to turn! Here are few recommendations from our team that identify the best flooring for the space. 1 & 2. We love a nice plush carpet, but if you are looking to carpet your entire upstairs we wouldn’t recommend a plush option. Although great for the bedroom, extra plush carpet wouldn’t be as ideal in the office – where you may want to roll an office chair – or for the walkway and stairs – which is more of a high-traffic area. And we wouldn’t recommend mixing and matching carpet that butt up to each other from a design standpoint. Therefore, we would suggest our Anso Colorwall - Gold Texture – as it is a smart choice for higher traffic areas. LVP is growing exponentially in popularity. If you’re looking at luxury vinyl plank options for the main floor you may want to check out Floorté, which is our enhanced vinyl plank. The collection boasts highly authentic hardwood and tile looks with products that are strong, durable, flexible and waterproof. Vinyl flooring is resistant to water, mildew and stains so it's a great flooring choice to handle all the activity of the main level. If you are set on having a glue-down, our locally made Uptown Now collection has many lovely designs. Hope this information helps as you make many decisions in the coming weeks!...See MoreUpstairs hardwood and carpet mix?
Comments (5)What flooring is on the main floor? Carpeted stairs is fine, since wood stairs can be a safety hazard, but I'd run hardwood in the hall as well if you're doing all the bedrooms. For resale look at listings in your area. If there are young families they may actually want carpet in bedrooms for softness....See MoreMix match taste!

Believe me the critics help me realize that I could possibly be a shopaholic! I admit i have been renovated for a while. From remodeling my kitchen to adding some stone to my mantel in the family room! To turning the garage into the boys room, replacing all the carpet into wood floor to remodeling my master bedroom and the bathroom expending my walking closet into my guess room! and finally upgrading the girls bedroom. The upgrading part to me was the easiest! Decorating on the other hand is where my Dilemma come in! My taste in decor it a little bit of everything. First, Comfort is something I cannot do without! Élégance i have to have! I had to say that in French! I am African & I am a French speaking girl! beautiful, rare and daring it how I describe my personality! To Translate That in the decorating Wold will quite be interesting! So going back to remodeling and redecorating was more bigger that i anticipated it will be! So that been said it’s taking a while, to complete so many different upgrades! The good news is, y’all come to my rescue!!! And I love you all!!!❤️ We made some progress, I moved things around a bit! The chaise and guess what!!!! It big too! But wait it’s so gorgeous y’all! I spent very little to nothing for what that chaise is worth! I hope you like the progress!!! Without further ado!!!! So I tried all the different angles to see what it would actually look like! Comments (2)Carpet is called for in an upstairs where you don't care for EVERY footfall to resonnate down below, cold climates...there was a reason wall to wall was invented!! But to the OP question. You can put as many different types of carpet you want in rooms with doors and walls that deliniate each room....See Moretibbrix
