My lunch today doesn't compare to yesterdays but it was good.

Paw Paw Patch: grilled hamburger steak with onions, okra and tomatoes, baby green limas Warm muffin to soak up the juices from the O and T.

we are going with friends to half-price hamburger night.

I had sirloin steak, baked potato and 3 bean salad. It sure was a nice day out but I was not outside much.

I was looking to see if anyone had pancakes today, for Pancake Tuesday.

I was going to, but then got hungry for more than pancakes, plus it's cold and damp outside, so I feel chilled. Breaded and baked chicken breast, (huge, big enough for both of us) mashed potatoes and a can of creamed corn.

Jody caught a redfish, and fried it with some waffle fries. Second night in a row he has cooked. As long as I don't get tired of fried food....we're good to go. ;)

I made swiss steak (baked steak to some of you), mashed potatoes, corn, & corn bread.

Jasdip, no pancakes here. Here it's Paczki, a Polish doughnut. Pronounced Poonshkie. It's sort of ball shaped, but a little flatter. Covered with either granulated or powdered sugar. Either plain, or filled with creamed prunes, poppy seed, apricots or Polish Rose ( I don't know what the Polish rose is!) I like mine plain. It's like a raised doughnut with out the hole.

Marilyn, enjoy Jodi's cooking for as long as you can get him to cook, fried food or not! LOL! It gets you out of doing it!

Tami, I haven't had Swiss steak in years! What cut beef d0 y0u use? I used a thick piece 0f t0p r0und but that's hard t0 find ar0und here. I l0ve the gravy best--and l0ts 0f it!!

Now I'm hungry for the Swiss Steak, too. Maybe tomorrow night. Tonight I had pork encheladas and a blueberry muffin. I had been nibbling all day so that was more than enough.

We had Bobby, Amber and their roomy Jordan over for dinner. They were so funny complimenting me on everything they ate. Such sweet kids.

Patti, I use round steak that has been cubed because I am lazy. Mom always used round steak and cut the flour into it with a butcher knife. And we like LOTS of gravy too!

Tomorrow will be fish of some kind, or Mac n cheese, since it is Ash Wed.

Rhonda, don't tell my DH that you make home made meat balls! He loves them, and I hate making them!
