Please help me choose: Palladian Blue vs. Woodlawn Blue or OTHER
Comments (21)I just recently painted my MBR palladian blue and I think it is such a wonderfully serene, cheerful color...I just love it. However, in the pic you posted, the Woodlawn (also a very pretty color) looks like a better match to your tiles...but I am in agreement with the others that it needs to be softened/lightened up a bit so that your gorgeous tiles take center stage. You might have already tried it but SW Rainwashed is also very pretty but it is really similar to palladian so not sure if that would be an option for you. Also, what about BM Quiet Moments??? I like the idea of a soft ethereal blue...not so keen on the idea of gray (it would be way too much gray IMO). Let us know what you decide! If you get more samples mixed up, post pics!!...See MoreAnyone use BM Agave OR Buxton Blue?
Comments (12)I know what you mean! So many gorgeous colors, so few walls! ;-) I just finished painting my kitchen in BM Warren Acres, a very soft green. This is the second gallon of BM Aura paint that I've gone through now, and I can attest that this stuff is the best paint I've ever used. You didn't ask about the Aura line, but since you're looking at BM I wanted to say that I think you would love it too! There's a richness and clarity to the colors that I haven't found in just any ol' paint. Whatever you choose, please post pics! Sounds like you're on your way to a beautifully-hued home....See MoreHas anyone used Wedgewood Gray by BM in windowless bathroom
Comments (6)Just go shopping and look at things you might like. My towels are from Target and the tassel lamp is from a flea market, artwork from Stein Mart, candles from TJMaxx. Just take your time in finding things you like. I think the white tiles will look great with that color. You have far more light with white tiles than I had with the blue pearl granite. Go for it. Do almost everything in white and it will have a cozy spa look. Do you have a shower curtain? If not, look for one similar to a flame stitch or an ikat which would have several colors, including a cool color like your paint and maybe some fiery reds and do all the rest in white. Maybe add some red candles here and there....See MoreBM Wedgewood Gray paint samples?
Comments (4)Thanks for the pictures Georgiagal. I have actually seen your post before and it's one of the reasons I liked Wedgewood. Does it look aqua to you? Another person here mentioned using it in her daughter's bedroom as nice aqua color, which might be too green for me. Denali, I'll have to check out the SW samples. I knew they did the paints in their own colors, but I didn't know they could color match in the sample size. I didn't want to use My Perfect Color because I was afraid their sample might not actually be the same as the original BM (I've had trouble color matching before where the paint was subtly off but you couldn't tell until it was on the wall). But I could try the SW sample and just use SW paint if I liked the color. Thanks for the info....See MoreDLM2000-GW
