I was rooting for Reggie, but I think Guy did do a little better job in his pilot demo. I saw the pilot demos again last night and lagatella was right -- he did address the audience as girls!!! How did I miss that, and what was he thinking??? They were both very worthy and I'd watch both of them if they had their own shows. I was surprised to see he will have a contract of only 6 episodes, but I guess that's to give it a trial run and see how it goes. If he does a lot of calimari and other things like that that I don't like, that will be it for me. I do want to try the chicken recipe Reggie did in his pilot, that looked delicious. Jen

You are essentially building a new shower complete with new tiled walls. In my experience the cost would be nominal because the pipes are all exposed. When I did a gut remodel they did all new pipes anyway - I mean in the scheme of things the walls are open and pipes are cheap versus the cost of old pipes needing repair down the line I had them run pipes for an additional hand held shower head at one end of my shower by the bench. No issues and didn't seem to raise the price much. Again they did it at the stage when everything was exposed and they were doing new pipes anyway

There are several things that can affect price. Supply and demand - if a lot of people want it, the store can charge more, and vice versa. Shipment delays, such as during Covid. Production delays, when the supplier can't find employees to work. War, when oil supplies are low and the producer can't fuel their machinery. Etc., etc., etc. One thing I have found is that the same looking chair or chest may be different prices depending on the materials used. Some products are all wood, where another identical looking item is made from MDF, laminate, etc. Be sure you are comparing apples with apples, not oranges.

What type of water do you have? Any issue with scale or spotting on your fixtures? Since it doesn't get used much, you might have hard water that sits in the fixture and something is getting clogged up. Could you be getting debris in your water supply line? I'm not a plumber, just taking guesses! Time to buy a different model and/or brand!
