cosmetic surgery done what would it be? I would have lipo on my thighs, rear and tummy and probably a breast lift. I won't ever do it - too expensive and I don't like the thought of going under anesthetic but that's what I would do if I wasn't afraid and could afford it. :)

the only elective surgery I would consider is lasik, even then it's not a priority for me. Otherwise, you could not pay me to have cosmetic surgery. I ain't a 10, but I can live with that.

What is the crease area surrounding your eyelids called? The area between the lid and eyebrow? Mine are beginning to droop. If I wore eyeshadow, you wouldn't be able to see it if my eyes are open LOL. I'd be too afraid to do it for fear of looking like toothpicks are propping my eyes open. I've seen that happen.

I'm not sure I understand the gardening definitions for sandy or silty loam. In archaeology, loam is about equal parts sand, silt, and clay, which refers to the size of the particles of soil. Clay is very tiny particles, silt is a little bigger, and sand is quite big. I guess many soils contain some of each of these size particles, unless you're in the Sahara (or Florida) or the topsoil has been graded away leaving a clay layer (most of Southern California). I love my soil. It's valley bottom silt and it digs like butter. My gardening friends all have subsoil clay to work with, and they are envious. On the other hand, their clay holds water well, which is pretty important in Southern California. Renee

Lisa, The staff at Hoomaluhia Gardens told me maile is shipped in from Cook Islands or other places out of state. I don't know about the other islands, but I'm guessing they must be getting close to depleting their forests too if Oahu has to go to Cooke rather than a neighbor island for maile. (Somebody should put it into tissue culture and get it going here again.) I totally agree, and try to suggest maile cultivation to folks in the plant business. Heidi Bornhorst wrote about cultivating maile in her book, "Growing Native Hawaiian Plants", but I have had no luck contacting her.

Yea..Diane Sawyer and her job. She is also so beautiful, and wearing her age so well! Honestly, tho, I think I have had the best job in the world and one that fit well. Wife (most times), Mother ( who got smarter and grew up with her kids) and world traveler. And Grandmother. Of course, I could have been better at all of those jobs, but "on the job training" has never stopped.

I did an L shaped with Island. It works for the way we cook and entertain. In past kitchens... We have had a G shaped , A giant U shaped with inside U island. (really a barrier), Galley kitchen, a galley that turned into a L at the end, a U with a peninsula, an L shaped.. and when we did our final kitchen. We chose an L shape with giant Island and wide wide aiels to accommodate friends and multiple cooks. Think about the way you cook. If my kitchen were only about cooking I would do the Galley as that is easy for a single cook with various work stations and saves on stepping to complete a task.

An eye lift for sure. Also I'd have all the excess skin taken off my jaw line. It's saggy. But I'm a scaredy, too, so it won't happen.

For awhile i really wanted to get a lipo/tummy tuck. I thought that i could hack it(pain) since i already been through 3 c-sections. No biggie right? We'll after i found out exactly what they do i said NO WAY. But if they came up with some pain free way of doing it then count me in.

Eyelids lifted, neck tightened. I look more and more like my grandmother every day! And I didn't even like her very much!

I can't imagine "choosing" to be put to sleep and cut on. One of my BFFs had a face lift and I lied and told her how good it looked. She said the pain wasn't worth it.

For sure a tummy tuck...I'd like to see my waist just once more...I know it has to be there somewhere.

If they ever come up with a safe upper arm surgery that doesn't leave long scars running down your arm I will be first in line.

My face I think I'd leave alone unless the procedure was medical as well as cosmetic (ie drooping eyelids interfering with vision.

I do not consider lasik any more cosmetic than getting one's teeth fixed.

I've already had the breast reduction surgery. I would love to have my nose fixed. I broke in in HS.

I would have a tummy tuck to get rid of the belly from my hysterectomy. I did have my eyes done about 4 years ago because it was starting to affect my vision.

I would like to have lasix, tho not for cosmetic reasons. I would like to have some dental work done...cosmetic reasons.
The rest of me, I don't care that much about. At least not now. I'd never do anything very drastic.

I'd love to have all the fat sucked out of me-lol but like Stephanie_ga said "I ain't a 10, but I can live with that!"

I'd be too scared to take something that was okay, and damage it or ruin it by trying to be perfect! Not to mention the money and pain! I'd rather be fluffy and happy!
