I enjoy it...but rarely buy it on purpose.
Prefer white chocolate...especially Lindt white on white truffles.
And also dark chocolate.

Milk chocolate is just too sweet anymore.

If I needed to gain weight I'd eat chocolate every day (good high quality chocolates, not Hersheys)... but since I need to lose weight I don't eat chocolate (or sugar even) very often. I'm not so much a chocoholic as I am a lover of sweets.

I've read that someone who craves chocolate might be low on Magnesium.

I make a chocolate cake that's not frosted. We both like a slice it with some potato chips OR vanilla ice cream.
Haven't made that cake in several years. I just might make it after dinner.

I live off bitter chocolate, I can care less about any other food as long as I have chocolate and water.
If I had any will to stay away, I'd probably drop 50 lb in a month.

Love Chocolate especially Dark Chocolate!!! Try not to have much around though because I find it hard to resist. I had hoped to take chocolate dipped strawberries into work tomorrow (it's my birthday and we supply the treats on our birthdays) but the berries weren't looking too good today in the store. So I'm bringing other fruit with dark chocolate dip.

Oh how I wish I could eat chocolate everyday. It can be dark or milk, doesn't matter, I'll eat it. But alas, I have to practice restraint. It's Moni who got me hooked on the dark chocolate with hazel nuts bars at Aldi's. I restrict myself to only buying one a month.

Thanks for the laugh, Moni. If you could see me when I'm fighting with myself to not buy more.........you'd see pure agony on my face! Plus I tell myself "Self, you can't have more than one bar because if you do, you're not allowed to buy the no salt added Conn's potato chips at WalMart." I was so jealous for about a year when you'd talk about these bars and my Aldi's didn't carry them.

I like chocolate but given the choice between a chocolate dessert and a fruity one I'll pick the fruity one over chocolate every time.

I've been craving chocolate for 2 months! I think I finally have it about cured, tho. Hhmmmm, I had a couple of magnesium tablets the other night when my foot cramped.

I'm spoiled...I love European chocolate and since I'm not going there anymore I rarely have it...my last run was the Buckeye's at Christmas...there's still some in the freezer...

I like chocolate but I wouldn't call myself a chocoholic. I like good truffles, and chocolate pie, but my favorite flavor is lemon. I like lemon anything.

As a child I craved chocolate.
WWII was going on and it was scarce. When it became readily available again I think I pigged out. Sometimes now I still go on chocolate binges.

Shirley, I bet they were just out. LOL, they are out quite often. But then of course, I help them run out often. Every time I have the urge, I just plain buy all they have. Max bars I got at one time, 16!

Don't care for chocolate. Though around the holidays, I enjoy a box of See's Nuts 'n Chews. I love nuts, the chocolate is incidental (and tradition).

My body needs chocolate as much as it needs oxygen! Any kind of chocolate, white, milk or dark, - cookies, fudge, cake - whatever - will do. As long as it's good quality. I hate the cheap stuff that gets sold around the holidays. I think I could pretty much live on chocolate. No will power at all when chocolate is around.

Chocolate is OK, occasionally. I prefer a white chocolate (yeah, yeah, I know...) and then a milk chocolate if I'm going to have it, although I do enjoy the "Andes" type mint candies occasionally. I'm more into butterscotch, fruit flavors or the like.

Just watched The Big Bang Theory when Sheldon was offering Penny the chocolates.... That's a great show.

It's a rare day that DH and I don't have chocolate. I like Ghiardelli chocolates -- DARK ONLY. DH will eat anything *sweet* (OR *salty*) in vast quantities -- but he controls himself! I want *chocolate* with a little sugar, not the reverse. I don't like 'white chocolate' for that reason; it's not really chocolate.

Frozen miniature snickers bars is what my dad kept in the freezer.

I loved chocolate. Fact is the bars were getting smaller so I needed two instead of one daily......then diabetes STRUCK. Now it is only a rare treat when I limit one of my other favorite carbs.

I could eat chocolate every day....prefer the dark chocolate but will eat milk chocolate anytime.
But I don't keep it in the house.

Ok, you made me do it... I stopped at Aldi, and got all the dark chocolate with hazelnuts they had! All nine bars!

I can go forever without chocolate. Never even consider having it. Then I will get on a chocolate kick. Have to have it everyday...for however long it lasts. Then when that is over, it almost nauseates me to think about it. LOL

I love chocolate! My DH already gave me my Valentines Heart, a Whitmans Sampler in a red felt heart-shaped box.

I can't believe there are people who don't like chocolate !I'm not crazy about chocolate cake anymore but I do like candy. I am eating mostly dark chocolate. I buy those really big bars and eat a couple sections after lunch.That is enough for my sweet tooth.

OMG, is the pope Catholic? I LOVE chocolate and basically eat it everyday. I love dark chocolate and mint. I can't find the 3 Muskateers bar thats mint here in Canada. I once went to a diet center and once the lady told me that I couldn't eat chocolate for a month on their program, I felt my heart pounding and thought I was going to faint. Needless to say, I didn't enroll in that program. Chocolate is the one food that I'll never give up.

There are four basic food groups: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, and chocolate truffles - end of story.

I have to try this:

Salty and sweet brownies

1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, finely chopped
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2 cups sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon Maldon sea salt

Directions
Preheat the oven to 350°. Line a 9-inch square metal cake pan with foil, draping the foil over the edges. Lightly butter the foil.
In a large saucepan, melt the butter with the unsweetened chocolate over very low heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat. Whisking them in one at a time until thoroughly incorporated, add the cocoa, sugar, eggs, vanilla and flour. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the surface. Sprinkle the salt evenly over the batter. Using a butter knife, swirl the salt into the batter.
Bake the fudge brownies in the center of the oven for about 35 minutes, until the edge is set but the center is still a bit soft and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out coated with a little of the batter. Let the brownies cool at room temperature in the pan for 1 hour, then refrigerate just until they are firm, about 1 hour. Lift the brownies from the pan and peel off the foil. Cut the brownies into 16 squares. Serve at room temperature.
