I did it! I found MY color! I am so excited...
Comments (20)Fabulous color. I have two that are similar in my house -- EK Mustard Seed and C2 Radiate. They are happy, happy colors. Just right for that happy, happy baby! And good for you for figuring out that you can't necessarily pick colors by looking at other people's photos. It's a great place to start....but it just isn't that simple, as you well know....See MoreFinally getting my mantle! so excited...what color?
Comments (36)Agree about raising the curtains and like the lighter color for contrast with the walls. what color are the walls? Is that a charcoal? cannot tell. I will make on suggestion though if you don't mind. I would actually drop the picture down on the mantel and it seems to be too high up, maybe even to just sit on mantel and lean. That way you wont have all things in a row (meaning sconces and windows) Although I am one who always hangs too low according to some. Lower warms a room up in my opinion. Your chairs around table are just gorgeous....See MoreGoing to pick out my slabs today! So excited!
Comments (9)Is that a slab of Costa Esmeralda peeking out behind the soapstone or a different type/color of soapstone? I think Costa Esmeralda was suggested to you a couple of times and would fit with your beach/cottage theme. It can be a gorgeous green/grey stone. The Carrara seems to have you mesmerized at this point...I get it!...See MoreSo excited to expand my garden
Comments (22)Tina , no worries, I thought you were seeing a plant in there that looked like a shrub ? I wish I could have more accent plants ! Lol sultry , I know rust is such an issue for you!! And they make trellis with such hollow thin metal now a days you hardly get a few years . We had problems with wood rotting in Tennessee so badly . My pergola fell , our fence fell.. it all just rotted in the ground despite being the treated stuff . So frustrating bc it is money not well spent ! good for you building a goat barn! That’s awesome!!! I’m going to look up the bird trellis you mentioned. Krista , 5 years is a long time to wonder ! I did the same thing in Tennessee.. though I did garden my heart out I knew in the back of my mind that may not be my last stop. Shortly after we moved here I realized this cannot be my last stop either or it will kill me , so I remain hopeful . You are right about cuttings!! I need to do that instead . :)...See Moredebrak2008
