I get crumpets from Publix. Like them much better than English muffins!

A crumpet ( krÊmpɪt (help·info)) is a savoury/sweet bread snack made from flour and yeast. It is eaten mainly in the United Kingdom and other nations of the Commonwealth.
A crumpet is something similar to an English Muffin, only much better. Sort of a cross between an English Muffin and a pancake. They're a British breakfast food. You can also buy them at Trader Joes in the U.S.
Unlike English muffin which is found with the loaves of breads/rolls, etc, a crumpet at Publix is in the refrigerated section around the canned biscuits, etc.
I had free coupons and got two different flavors. One was the strawberry and I think the other was just cream cheese. I didn't care much for them. I wish they taste as good as they look!
I also like a bagel and cream cheese but those bagelfuls seem kind of gross? I've never tried one, since it looks like you'd bite into a big glob of cream cheese?
How long does it take to spread cream cheese on a bagel?
Nope, I'd never spend money on that product. Heat in the toaster or microwave? That would totally destroy the texture of the cream cheese, and I think the bagel's texture would be altered, too.
This reminds me of the frozen crustless peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the frozen food section - more than 4 times the cost of homemade for less than 3 minutes work to make a fresh one.
