How Terry is being remembered (2 pics)

I hope you're not tired of hearing about my cousins. Barbara is the one who does the paintings and made the mittens for me. We are the daughters of sisters. Terry, daughter of the third sister, died in September, a day or two after receiving a liver transplant. It was terribly sudden, and many of you prayed with me for a better outcome.

Terry's community has remembered her in a number of wonderful ways, and I wanted to share one of them with you. One of Terry's volunteer efforts was the painting of barn quits--huge wooden "quilt blocks"--which were then mounted on the sides of barns. It was part of a beautification project in the area where she lived.

A local organization created a 2009 Barn Quilt Calendar, and dedicated it to Terry. Here's the dedication (I added her name at the top), along with a picture of the whole back of the calendar. It's gorgeous--they did a wonderful job.
