As a matter of fact I have, just this week. But, these are licensed Hans Wegner Wishbone chairs and they are expensive: $855 a crack. However, now that these are showing up in colors, there will likely be knock-offs soon.

The bago luma (sp?) chairs and stools come in several colors and a few sizes, I think they do orange and turquoise.

It seems the baga luma does not have the same selections as before. Don't think the higher seat height will work.

These are from Stanley's kids collection. Not sure about size of the chair but they can be ordered in tangerine. The seat cushions look easy enough to recover if you want.

these come in both counter and regular height. A little different flavor than many of the ones shown here, but they are comfortable.

Ah, thanks, lukk... that's more like my budget! I liked the Phoenix orange chair above, but with the low back, my tall DH probably wouldn't like them.

Have you ordered from this Art Van place before? When I tried to click on "details" for the orange chair, I didn't get anywhere. Just wondering what they're actually made of. I like the blue chair, too. Grandin Road had a similar one in orange, but they only had 2 in stock.

Check out Maine Cottate Furniture, they will paint their stuff in any of their highly saturated colors. Not cheap, but not $800 a whack either...

You could also buy unfinished chairs at an unfinished furniture place and have an auto body shop spray them for you.

There is a simple chair called Boothbay on their site that might do the trick.

Ohh, I love Maine Cottage, but I can't bring myself to spend $500 per chair for this room. Or even $350, which seems to be the cheapest one they have.

The more I am looking and thinking about chairs, the more I think I want something like a Parsons chair or at least something other than a straight wood chair. These chairs might be pulled over to watch TV, etc... and I want them to be comfortable. On the other hand, they will also be used when sitting for art projects, so they need to be practical for that purpose. Those bright orange chairs that lukk posted might be just right. They look like they could be hosed right off!

rose, I have a Home Goods about 20 minutes away but it's rare to find 4 of the same chairs there. I might check, anyway. If nothing else, I'm sure I'll be able to find a couple of turquoise or orange accessories for the room!

The ones at the stores I mentioned were Parsons type. I bought mine from Crate & Barrel- mine are similar to this but are a taupe microfiber like this. I looked for my set for a long time & am really happy with the ones I got from C&B. We've had them 2 years; they have worn well. We also got the matching counter height chairs.

CB2 has an orange chair for only $129.

rose, you are my new BFF!! I just ordered the Target chairs. Woohoo! I like that the legs are not so dark -- they are closer to color of our table. And the fabric looks like it will hide dirt better than a solid orange. Funny because I looked at the same chairs on their site in a different color and for whatever reason, I didn't poke around enough to see that they had the orange color.

Funny you should ask if I've ordered from Artvan before, they're a large furniture store in the area and I have new sofas, a kitchen table and server being delivered today from them. I'm excited! I had seen the chairs when looking for my own stuff and thought of them immediately when I saw your post.

BTW, I didn't have time to respond to your earlier post, but you've done a fabulous job on your house, love it!

Glad you liked the look of the Target chair- I like it too for the same reason. It looks like it's the micro suede; hopefully they're as comfortable as the ones I got from CB. Now you need to run out & find accessories before they stop using orange lol

Penneys had really nice orange sheers at one time if you need those.
