Would You Like To Send Bradley A Card??

Bradley is the 2y/o that has been through over 30 hours of brain surgery just this last week!

If you would like to send him an on-line card, you can do that at this website I posted below. They make out a card and it is brought to the patients room.

His name is Bradley Allen and he is in Blank Hospital. (if you would like to mention that you are a friend of Kalie's...then they have some idea how far off the prayers have been coming.

Here is the address to the hospital also...as he will be there for at least 3 weeks (last I heard).

Bradley might not care about all the love & prayers from people, but his parents will feel very blessed!

Sandy..is his last name Allen?
It asks for his last name and room number if you have it.

I don't know his room number...I don't think you have to have that as long as you have his name. Bradley Allen. And it is the Blank Hospital.

I tried to return a pair of shoes I bought at Famous Footware originally paid for using my Visa card. The store manager refused to process the credit unless I let her scan the barcode on my drivers license. Store - company policy. Her computer won't let her!!! All returns, exchanges for size - everything - requires the Official Gov't issued pictured ID to be scanned, even if you originally paid cash! I am furious - I have never been in that store before, and won't ever go in there again. I am stuck with these shoes, because I refuse to let them scan the barcode. I spent time finding out if this is leagal - in this state it is - what may be illegal is what is done with the data they capture - like we really know! Between the "secret data" on that drivers license barcode (MVA couldn't tell me all that was on there) and your credit card # and profile - does anyone else see the potential for Identity theft or worse? It is easier to shop online, and becoming safer.

I don't always send them, but I always intend to! I have been pretty good, a couple years in a row now... Like Bill, I think it's an extra special treat to those who get one from me, the odds are dodgy!! It sure is a feeling of accomplishment, getting those cards in the mailbox. I also write a short personal message, since I don't have kids or photos or newsletters to share. It gets a little tedious to write in each one, but I make sure I have eggnog and carols playing and make it festive. This year I wrote half while watching "Holiday Inn." I like reading the newsletters, even when they are braggy! Usually they are from relatives I don't keep in touch with so it's just a nice record of their year. I don't mind cards that are just signed (always the photo ones) but I prefer the ones with a message! I also don't compare give-to-recieve. I am sure I've fallen off a list or two for the years I missed, but I send cards to people I want to extend a greeting to, not to those whom I owe anything!

Here is his CarePage info. THis is what his mommy wrote: "He is just so adorable and i just want to thank all of you out there and you know who you are who sent care cards. We are hanging them all up in our room so he sees all the support he has. If all else if we start running out of room we will start hanging them on the ceiling. Thanks again for all the prayers. I always send TY cards, even if just a note. It's the way I was brought up. I guess I didn't do a very good job with my 2 daughters. They and others in their 20's and 30's. seem to appreciate gifts and being remembered at birthdays, etc because they do verbally thank everyone but they don't send anything written.My SIL recently sent an engagement gift to our nephew but got no response. She is rather P-O'd and says she plans to boycott the wedding. My guess is she sends gifts to get thank-you notes rather than as a token of her affection for young relatives.

I'm in. I'm sure the hospital staff will have no trouble finding his room. Once the cards start rolling in,I mean. And a hospital on "Pleasant" street? That tickled me!

Thanks to all of you for sending this little guy cards and other gifts. I know Angie will be so appreciative of all of the support from all over the world. It's amazing how everyone pulls together in times like this to help out a stranger. So again, thanks to all!

Just got a call from Angie and she wanted to thank each and everyone one of you that she got a card from today. She said the nurse brought in this HUGE envelope with all of these cards. You could just hear her smiling from ear to ear on the phone. So thanks again for helping out a friend in need and keeping their family in your thoughts and prayers! You guys sure are truly amazing!
