Ladies, I know pics say millions. Thanks jeannie, I would never have known that photobucket was free. I have seen pics from others on that website for years. The plumbers block dish is about 8" x 8" by 2"deep. I balanced everything together in the Thrift shop. One lady walking by said it looked cool but wobbly. But she did not know you guys secret GE II SILICONE GLUE. I actually did see that glass microwave plate I did consider it for a moment. But I am going to let that inverted plumbers block dish dig into the soil for anchorage. I went to OSH last night and found the glue. First I saw it in the small tubes for 4.29 a tube, but then I saw the big caulking tubes, (had to ask the young man at the paint counter how to work the caulking gun..lol). Last night I set it all together again in the garage it looks cool. I also scored on a rustic white tin garden angel with dangling wood legs, and a white and rust middle eastern type of lantern (for a tealight) that fit perfectly on a garden hook that was white and rusty. ;-) Concrete - ..when you mentioned the punch bowl I pictured that for the top.

What a wonderful shopping day for you. That Arthur Court tray was a screaming deal. I only see the expensive ones while out shopping. The scarves are such a great color and will be lovely with your dishes. I love the deer and know you have the perfect decor to go with them. At Home America has nice things so I'm sure they are heavy. I have some pencil figurines and enjoy using them too. The baking dish looks brand new. You can bake me something and send. Just Kidding! I've been trying to cut down on my sweets but I Love Them more than other food. Sweet little pinecones. Are they metal? That's an interesting little tree you found. Bet it won't be long and you'll know exactly how to fit it into some of your decor. Luvs, I'm so sorry you didn't get to go shopping w/friends. I believe everything happens for a reason. I am like Marilyn. I don't do dress up. I own one pair of gray pants but they are probably too big for me now since I lost a bit of weight since last year. I'm overweight,over 60, wear jeans and mens t shirts. Still get hit on all the time. Like Emma said, it's attitude. I walk into a room like I own it. Using Poor posture and stance is the most aging thing one can do. I learned my lesson years ago at an awards ceremony for a scout thing. I was in my late 30's. After shopping most of the afternoon I was practically in tears. I hate most women's fashion. I am short and they make me look old and frumpy. Don't even get me started ranting about those stupid looking hobbit pants. LOL So DH said to wear what I wanted and I did. I went in clean newish (not faded) jeans and a nice sweat shirt which were in style back then. When we got there there we a sat down at an empty table. Later all these men came in and sat with up. The whole room was either in uniform or dressed up. The women were all in dresses and jewelry and such. Guess who had the best time? ME!!! We talked sports, autos and guy stuff. I think had I been dressed girly they would have been more subdued. The guy next to me was tipsy and hilarious. Turned out the guys at our table were all the national head honchos. They had been partying earlier. Now had I worn a dress or dressy clothes I would have been so uncomfortable I would have been evil. My personality changes for the worse as the layers of "feminine" clothing go on. So I have learned to stay in my comfort zone. The heck with what others think. The church thing? How nice of those women to judge. Bless their brittle little hearts.

Is that the closet in the MBR? If not, then why leave it exposed like that. Sortof ruins the room for me. I like the bedrooms but the Chaise lounges pushed up against the walls at a right angle are not real attractive to me. How are you supposed to sit and do anything that normal people do in a living room like read the paper or watch TV? My pet peeve with all these design magazines and fancy shmancy homes is they are so cold. So uncomfortable looking. Who in their right mind would spend a small fortune decorating a house that is filled with uncomfortable furniture in fabrics that you're afraid to sit on. I love linen, but can't imagine having a chair or sofa covered in it unless I never planned on sitting in it. Rant over.
