Would this be too weird?

I am doing another mini-office/craft room update. I have a typical office/executive chair, with the wheel base, that just does not go with the shabby theme in the room. I thought of making a slip cover for the chair, but it's lines are just so unattractive.

Today I bought a poor little Queen Anne style upholstered chair off CL. It was suuuper cheap, and needs to be recovered. I'm thinking of removing the legs and replacing them with the wheeled base of the existing office chair. The chair has nice carved wood wrists and nail head trim that I will reuse, but the legs are not the greatest and removing them will not significantly change the structure of the chair.

Would that look too weird? Or should I perhaps try to add wheels to the QA chair? The two chairs would be the same height, and with the rolling base, it could swivel & lean. I wouldn't use the chair for long periods of time, just a couple hours at a time.

Thoughts on this hybrid idea?
