They look different to me. The bottom one is more ruffled. I suppose it might be the soil or weather difference, though. Did you notice any difference in the plants? How about branching and bud count? That might help you determine if they are the same iris. Renee

You can find ready-made panels in so many places, but here is a quick look at overstock.com. The thing to remember if you want the drapes to close the panels need to be 1 1/2 to 2 times the width of the window. Another alternative is to have someone sew panels for you . In this case, I think the plaid would look great everywhere. I love pattern on pattern, and don't see any problem with it as long as the colors work together. I like how it adds warmth to the room. I didn't read all of the comments yet..so I'm sure I repeat many other answers. So I'd prefer plaid to plain everywhere in the room. I think it will be nice and enveloping and pretty and I already smile when I imagine it-it's not my room of course but if it makes you smile too. go for it. It's difficult because the front window is super traditional with the arches and grids but all the other ones are very modern. Because of that, I would try to use the same window treatments to bring some cohesion between all of them.
