Just made horseraddish. The cure all!

If this doesn't cure what ails you, nothing will. We got 2 roots at the West Side Market in Cleveland. Samething we did last year. Last year I could have made it in the house. Mind you, this is a labor of love, and I make DH help. I DON'T eat it. This year I could smell it as I peeled it and cut it into chunks to run thru the food processor. It's cold but not bad. The sun is blinding on the snow. We set the card table up on the sun porch and got out the little heater and extension cord. Half an hour later, eyes like road maps, clear lungs and sinuses, we have 1 qt. and 8 oz, plus about 2 T. of Polish Ice Cream! At least that's what his family calls it! It was bad enough just grinding it up, but when we added the vinegar!!!!!!!!! OMG, we couldn't stand it. DH took it outside to mix in the vinegar before we put it in the jars. The dishwasher is already running with the few breakfast dishes and the stuff we used to make the horseraddish. Not a full load, but I don't care! My eyes are still burning. We don't dare go anywhere. If the cops stopped us, they'd think we were on drugs the way our eyes look!LOL. I hope he enjoys this stuff for the next six months. For what he eats of it, and what I put in his salad dressing when I make it, it should last him that long, then it will be time to buy 2 more roots and do it all over again. The things we do for our loved ones.
