Just finished painting the living room Have to change the color of the hanging lamp. What color should i paint it...

Is there anything else i could change...

I love it!

I would paint the hanging lamp shade a similar color as your walls. Not an exact match but either lighter or darker.

We probably have! He had a lot of family visiting from NY last year, so we had to do all the touristy things. I went to The dang Stockyards more last year than in the past 15 years combined! It is kind of fun seeing it all through other's eyes, though. :) Mmmmm, love that kitchen! And the rug. ;-)

It may not be the painter’s fault. Have a reputable plasterer take a look. It may be the walls were poorly finished when the condos were built.

Instead of painting the shade can't you just replace it with a lighter colored shade?

I think I would group the family pictures on the wall on the other side of the TV. I would move the clock somewhere else too--on a narrower wall.
