Thank you all kindly for the good wishes. It has been a pleasant, lazy day. All shopping was done online without a single bruised shin or dinged car door. I don't do crowds well anymore. (Well, except for maybe the Philly Flower Show...) Marda, DS was in kindergarden when you came out of lurkerdom and joined our GP family. He's in 9th grade now. Tempus fugit. Pidge, that was the one and only year I was able to buy and use a season pass for Longwood. I'm hoping DH and I can do that together in another year or two. Jan, I still have my pink flamingo ponytail holder from that day! Thanks again. It's been a very nice day.

Thank you all for the Birthday Wishes. Lonny threw me a suprise gathering Sunday. It was sweet of him. We have 5 kids. Two are moved out and have jobs. The others go to school all day. It was a nice suprise to be able to spend time together with the whole bunch of us. Then he ruined it by asking how it felt to be 40. LOL. Thanks. Kim

There are lots of choices for dialysis- in center hemodialysis three times a week (which I do), nocturnal in-center dialysis six or seven nights a week,ambulatory dialysis, Peritoneal dialysis done at home plus home hemodialysis. The last two require a medically trained "partner" and involve having a private sanitized room, a water supply and storage space for all the supplies. Hopefully anyone starting dialysis is given enough information to make a personal choice. And you can change methods at any time. I'm happy with in-center dialysis. The nurses and technicians do all the work and insert the needles, and they are right there if I have any problems. Sort of like childbirth-I chose to deliver my babies in a hospital.

Thanks everybody...I spent the day at dialysis.when I left my blood pressure dropped to 80 .way too low.so when I finally made it home,everybody was waiting with gifts,cake flowers.I also got a pair of topaz& diamond earrings.I ate went to bed at 8.I felt bad.I feel like a zombie when blood pressure is that low.
