Happy Birthday, Bulldinkie!

Happy belated birthday, that is, since your birthday was Monday. I did not see your message until this morning, however. I have several friends with the same birthday - we Pisces seem to group together! You have the same birthday as Chelsea Handler and George Harrison, I think. I share mine with Peter Fonda and Niecy Nash!

Hope you had a great day and continue to celebrate, as I am doing. We drive back to L.A. this afternoon.

Happy belated birthday to you! (I've been around but distracted by personal stuff.) The ring sounds amazing! :) I like that cake. (The version called "Sex in a Pan.") And made the chocolate version in a heart shaped casserole dish a year or two ago for a friend as a joke. I used all chocolate pudding, though. And topped it with dark chocolate curls. Thanks for the birthday wishes! This is the 5-0 birthday for me and it's just hard for me to believe it! After yesterday though, I'm FEELING it! LOL The house my boys lived in when they were in college is going on the market today so I was over there painting the kitchen cabinets and staging the bathrooms (cleaned them spic-n-span first). Oh my, I have soreness in places I didn't even know I had places! It probably didn't help that I came home and practically guzzled a bottle of wine while in the hot tub! So I guess 49 went out with a bang and 50 is coming in with a whimper. :-)

This past fall I observed my nephew going through what you are (kidney and lungs). I spent many days sitting with him in the hospital always amazed at his positive attitude and almost cheerful demeanor through it all.

Happy Birthday, Bulldinkie! My ex-H had a kidney/pancreas transplant 7 years ago and I remember well that waiting. You've been on my prayer list for a long time. This forum's mojo for people going through tough times is reknown. Slowly put your hands on your monitor and sit quietly...feel the support coming through? Yep, that's the forum's power.
