If its getting warm at times you really want to get some sprays down. Especially when it gets into the 80s everything moves a lot faster on the bugs and diseases front with wet and warm conditions. So, I would spray in the middle of it as long as there is not 1/2" or more of rain forecast coming. A huge downpour actually is not that bad, the bugs don't move around and the diseases are getting rinsed off the leaves. Just be ready with the sprayer the instant the rain stops. Here we are having light rains now that I don't pay a lot of attention to as far as spray timing. Note that some sprays are systemic so all you need to do is get them down and dried and you are good. Yes, this is common. Expect your period to start skipping, then returning, being heavy, lasting longer, lasting shorter, it all comes down to perimenopause. My first alert this was starting to occur was when I was 46. I had a period two weeks after the prior one and it freaked me out. Then I had a period like no other, with heavy bleeding and clots. It lasted almost 3 weeks, which is what sent me to the doctor. I went for a sonogram and found out the clots and very heavy/lengthy flow were due to fibroids. The periods skipping, changing in flow, etc went on for four years. The most difficult years for me though were ages 50 - 53, during which I had almost every symptom named in this forum. Thank God for all the caring women who have taken the time to share their stories here. From sore joints/muscles to heart palpitations to strange periods to anxiety to "weird head feeling," I have had all these and more. I was tested for all kinds of things and often told "it has nothing to do with perimenopause," as though it wasn't even real. I wish the medical community would do a better job communicating the issues related to this time of life. I say all this to give you a heads up now as to what might be ahead. Consult your doctor about anything that seems "off" to you, even if it's just to have peace of mind. But also know that much of the time, changing hormones are behind a great many of these symptoms. I never realized the enormous role hormones play in our lives. I am now 54 and still have the odd hot flash or muscle stiffness but things are getting better. I hope you will be one of the lucky ones for whom perimenopause is a breeze.

Yes, I went through that in college. But DD's too young right now, that's not the problem. I did take a couple of pills (from the last week of the pack - more progesterone in that) and it held off until I got home. Still terrible hot flashes - last hour of driving I barely made it, had to pull over at pizza place 20 miles from home and try to cool down, the A/C in car wasn't helping enough. Next day got my period, 2AM the day after that had worst flood I've ever experienced - like a miscarriage. I'm going to ask my dr about going on HRT if she doesn't want me on the Pill.

I searched all over the internet for someone who made an adjustable bridge faucet for an old sink with non-standard hole width and found www.bathsfromthepast.com -- they also have regular, nonadjustable faucets. Their faucets come in several finishes including an uncoated brass (which will tarnish and patina over time), antique brass, polished nickel (which is what I was looking for...it will also tarnish and patina over time), copper, oil rubbed brass etc. I cannot attest to their quality. I haven't ordered from them yet, but I do plan to. Hope this helps...
