WANTED: Sweet corn (E.G. SILVER QUEEN, COUNTRY GENTLEMEN, TRUE PLATINUM, sE vARIETIES: SPRING SNOW, SUGAR PEARL, AND sh2 Varieties TAHOE, HOW SWEET IT IS.......) HAVE; Peppers........4 types. "Finger" (?) peppers (photo attached) (and no they are NOT serrano nor jalpeno, at least 100,000-350,000 scoville (Hotter than scotch bonnet I'VE HAD) Cheese peppers Italian fryers Poblano MELONS/PUMPKINS: 5 DIFF Melon, Pride of Wisconsin '13 (Organic seed) Watermelon, Heirloom, Cream of Saskatchewan - White watermelon '13 (Organic seed) LEMONDROP MELON (Organic, NON-GMO) Jack-b-little Pumpkin (Organic) Small sugar Pumpkin (Mike's NON-GMO) ALSO FYI..... Several people have contacted me about wanting specific seeds from me and proposed trades. how great!! If you have done so..PLEASE follow through as i have been holding the seeds aside for you and have either taken them off my list or told others their trades are pending because they are being held aside for someone else...(I use the first come, first served philosophy)...so,... If we had a gentlemen's agreement and you have not yet sent out your proposal seeds for what you asked please do so immediately as I will be reposting all of the seeds held aside as AVAILABLE to others right after Labor Day.. thank you for your understanding. Marlene, so glad to hear your gout is doing better. My DH suffers from RA and gout so I know what your going through. When will you know if you need a cast in place of the brace on your hand. Sure hope that isn't necessary and it heals w/o. When do you think your kitchen remodel might be done? Will be great to have you back posting pictures of your tables and decor when your done. I heard him speak on "Oprah" this afternoon, and his plan makes good sense. By staggering the rain checks, their employees won't be slammed, service will improve, and their supplies will be available. The only inconvenience will be having to either drive through and turn in your current coupon and get the rain check or go inside and get one. That's not that bad for a free meal. Oh, and he also said that they'll be giving free Pepsis with the meals for the inconvenience.

Sally, I fully understand and empathise with you at this sad time. It seems so unfair , but there's always a reson for everything. But for those who are personally affected, it is extremely hard. I don't mind at all if your blocks are late. I belong to a quilting group that are making quilts for our new hospital's Oncology Ward. (The hospital is still being built and won't be finished until 2011) This quilt - Tessalated Cats - will be my contribution, with everyone in Bobbin Babes helping me to achieve the end result.
