Yes, the vinyl floor is a forest green, that's the best way I can think to describe it as my photos aren't great. It's that green that was popular in the '90s? Or late '80s? Paired with burgundy. Those Design Seeds are helpful, thanks. I think once I figure out the wall color(s), the rest of the color scheme will follow fairly easily. I agree with using the logo colors as subtle accents. We talked about maybe plants in pots that are the "theme colors", for example. There is a nice deep windowsill behind the reception desk where some plants would do well. On my monitor, your countertop looks like a charcoal gray, and the backsplash looks like a navy blue. Having said that, we used Benjamin Moore's formula for Tranquility, but with Mythic paint, for trim in the kitchen. I'm not sure whether it's a blue with a lot of green in it or a green with blue in it, but in our kitchen, it reads as a green. It's a light, soothing color; however, I don't know whether it would be right for your room. We do like it a lot.

What color did you paint the walls? For walls or for bedding, I'd go with ivory or light beige, being careful it doesn't look yellow, not stark white. White might make the black furniture look harsher. Even though apple pie always has very good advice.

I think doing some computer imaging would be super helpful for you if that's something you have the tech skills and interest to take on. Some of the paint manufacturers have apps that let you "paint" an image of your own room to try out colors (not a substitute for testing colors in your own space since the app can only guess about light conditions, but it can help point you in the right direction). Some rug vendors (RugsUsa and eSale rugs, among others) let you visualize a rug in your space (they do a great job of sussing out what is furniture and what is floor and getting the perspective right). And I get a lot of mileage out of Microsoft Word in terms of creating collages of images, like layering the putty sofa over the top of the existing sofa, or layering in curtains or artwork. It's helpful to figure out how to remove backgrounds from images, make an image float over text so you can stack them, and how to reorder images so the curtains are on top of the wall and not under it. I did this with Benjamin Moore's personal color viewer. Colors are BM Tandoori and Elmira White.
