Hi Alba, Thanks! You just reminded me that I need to update that album...I'm going to wait till after the Summer because my hoyas are going wild right now! I get my hoyas from different places. Either trades, David Liddle orders, the hawaiian grower (can't put her name here, but email me if you want it - she has amazing hoyas for great prices), Ebay, and other online vendors (like Logees or Asiatica. Hoyas like tsangii and carnosa are the ones you usually find in big box stores (Home Depot or Lowe's). If you want the more "rare" hoyas, you won't find them there unfortunately. Gabi

I kicked myself after posting because it really is hard to believe unless you have seen birds and other animals interact with each other. I first noticed this type of activity when I looked on a tree by one of my bird feeders and saw dove, dove, small hawk, dove. A What? reaction set in. Living in the part of the midwest I do the most common thing you see is birds suddenly diving for the bushes. On a clear day you will see at least two hawks hunting. On a overcast or rainy day you need to take shelter because you will have a heavy rainstorm with hail or very high wind with driving rain. Watching wildlife and how they interact really helps you learn about peoples interactions. If anyone notices or has additional things that they have heard of I for one would be happy to hear of them.

A man. It was a matter of subject focus, or rather the lack thereof. She (the writer) began talking about everyone she mentioned, instead of continuing the subject's life story. Example: (name changes of course) "Taylor Doe was born to John and Jane Doe. She birthed a son, Jack, and lived in the Miama, Florida area until relocating to Michigan." She was talking about his mother, Jane Doe, birthed a son named Jack. Weird way to introduce the decedent's sibling, but the biggest problem is I had no idea she suddenly began talking about his mother. She even went on to tell what his mother did for a living. She did that a few times. Later on after mentioning the marriage, she said they had no children, but he fathered a daughter. Then, she began talking about the wife. I was totally confused. I woke her at around 7. After establishing it was about a man, I just deleted all she wrote about other people in favor of focusing on him. When listing the survivors, she stipulated his wife, then wife's name, then five other names without stipulating the relationships of these five other people. Knowing they can't all be his wife LOL, I asked who they are to him. She said they are his children. Another alarm since she already established he only fathered one daughter. I guess they are her children, his stepchildren. I also had to clarify some spellings since deciphering her handwriting was rather difficult. Thanx for asking.

Hi Raven, When you saw her coming ... could you have said, "Beep! Beep!"? In your situation, had I thought in time, when she looked annoyed, I might have said, "Young lady ... if you're not more careful about where you're going while texting ... your next stop may be a wheelchair like this ... or a coffin, maybe?" I've asked some folks in a similar situation if they know how to get tire tracks across their legs ... it may well be while walking from the mall to their car in the parking lot, then I hold out my left hand with palm up and fingers bent like holding something, and have the fingers on my right hand dancing over it like they do while texting, while having my head bent down, watching. Some are somewhat thoughtful ... others rather dismissive: see themselves as indestructible, I guess. Dad used to say that it's hard to teach an old dog new tricks ... but sometimes that goes equally for young dogs, too, I think. (not to "biIch" about anything, you understand) ole joyful
