Is there any support system for your daughter? I've always found self-help groups best. No 'professional' understands angst like someone who has been through it. While we hope all goes well, would it take some pressure off to have a plan for the future, just in case? (More IVF; no more IVF; adoption; 'favorite aunt' role; volunteering with children; etc.) I spent years trying to conceive, long before IVF was an option. It was ruining my life and my marriage until my husband and I decided to say no to any further medical procedures. Once we made the decision to put the impossible (for us) dream behind us, we were able to refocus and move ahead. We mourned the never-to-be baby first, then considered our options. It was a great relief. We were able to adopt within a few years. We are proud and happy parents -- and grandparents now.

Hi all.. back 3yrs on from my last comment 2016... I had bloated stomach probs then and blods in toilet.. They said fer ages itsit's my ibs a piles.. But after me seeing doctor for umteenth time iI saw diff doctor and said need tests done as feels not right..anyway cut this long story short it turned out to be bowl c. 1st stage thankfully.. So had all intensive treatment done an cleared it but now have regular checks each year up to date now not long had last ct done ahead of yearly check up august (but said ct ok) But I've my bloated belly (from top belly button) back an wee lot an seen my local doc an testing for alibactor= (in stomach which they found 2016 to an treated with antibiotics) and prolapse to witch I've had few yrs now ...im hoping all ok but on reading comments above a lot of overian c mentioned.. Which years ago they said mine had shrilled up (after hystirectomy 1990 for cervical c) so no concern bout them.. Hopefully.. My docs ses i had CT with dye done this past march and that he said an assured me an drew a diagram is thouragh an was clear... So hopefully all crossed he's right as u tend to lose faith in them esp wen they miss things..

I took two more tests. They were the idiot proof kind that say PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT and I most certainly am with child. Daddy is really excited. I didn't want to tell the girls but he spilled the beans to them and half of the town we live in. He ran up to his part time night job and told all the fella's there as well as all the neighbors, all of his family and I'm sure he was strutting around like a rooster at his day job this morning. We went out to eat with the girls to celebrate at a resteraunt we frequent....he was telling all the staff. HAHAHA. The girls kept announcing it to complete strangers as they left the resteraunt. I wanted to crawl under the table and die everytime. The girls are so excited so now I am MORE paranoid. J made me get of the computer last night. I was ordered to stop looking stuff up. Thanks for all the congrats!!! We are all very excited. Thoughts and prayers for a smooth pregnancy would be greatly appreciated! P.S. My boobs are killing me...hahahahahaha

I find it both amusing, and pathetic, that someone who has been here less than a week has already resorted to the kind of name calling that junior high children commonly do. I think TOS has a huge chip on her shoulder. I think she sees with blinders on, and I think she thinks that every step mother in the world is evil incarnate. She assumes that every Stepmom in the world got her husband by cheating with him, and she looks for little things to prove that to herself. I think she is hurting herself by her inability to get past things. She is a deeply wounded person. But she isnt a troll. Yes, you are free to post whatever you wish, although someone, somewhere down the road is probably going to b*tch and moan that the post is off track ( which only seems to happen when its someone you dont agree with) For what its worth, there are a lot of posters here with chips on their shoulder, of a different kind of wood. Many of us have our present situations influenced by our attitudes about things that have happened in the past. Its hard sometimes not to say anything, I know. My own past has been EXTREMELY negatively impacted by psuedo religion, so of course I am going to pick out the inconsistency in your faith,when you denigrate someone you dont even know. LIve with it, or ignore me, Your opinion of me doesnt matter in the least to me. Since you made a point of mentioning how you follow God in a previous post,I am merely pointing out that your attitude in name calling is very out of line with your supposed faith. IF that stings, thats your problem. If it doesnt, then why bother reacting. Perhaps you should take your own advice. All of us have had a great deal to handle throughout our lives it seems." Had that been there when I posted my response on this topic to you, I wouldnt have commented as I did. It seems you DO understand the need to keep the name calling down to a minimum, and the understanding to a maximum. Maybe its just that you think it shouldnt apply to you? I do thank you for confirming what I believe about religious people :) After living in the bible belt for the last few years, I have learned a lot about what faith is...and obviously isnt.
