Disgusted - any advice appreciated

I'm 58 and have been to quite a few doctors and gynos about vaginal dryness/painful intercourse. Tried the vaginal estrogen - made me itchy; started Endau progesterone cream/better for lubrication, but still hurts.

There seems to be no answer except extra lubrication which doesn't help. Tried everything. It seems that my husband can enter me about 2" - after that it seems extremely painful.

One doctor told me, "you may try a urologist or get an ultrasound, but didn't seem positive about either option helping me.

I live in Dade City, FL which is an hour from Tampa and Orlando. Any suggestions to good doctors for this problem?

I don't know of any doctors I could recommend--but I'm wondering if there isn't another brand of estriol cream you could try--perhaps you are allergic to the cream the doctor gave you...or perhaps it comes in a pill--don't know if it does--or if it would work but a doctor or pharmacist should be able to tell you.

Have you tried Astro Glide? It's sold over the counter and it's great.

My daughter used that tile in her bathroom. Her cabinets are a light grey. Your picture makes your cabinets look white but that might be just the photo or how it looks compared to the quartz. My daughter likes contrast so she actually used a black quartz for her countertop. She used 24x24 tiles on her floor and 12x24 on her tub/shower walls. She went with the matte finish for both. At the time she did her bathroom, the glossy finish Florentine Carrara samples she had looked quite a bit different (in the undertones of the white background color) from the matte tiles. Be sure to look at both types of tiles side by side. Also the gloss tiles are ceramic while the matte tiles are porcelain. Here are a couple shots of her bathroom It’s hard to see the subtle brown in the tile pics I think it would look better if you do not use a marble look quartz. It obviously won’t look like the tiles so it may end up looking like a miss match. I love the look of this quartz. It has sparkle in it which adds some glam and it would provide some contrast but not be as dark as a black quartz. I have seen it in person and think it’s beautiful. It’s Cambria’s Minera. The slab view on Cambria’s website does not do it justice at all. Each quartz company has quite a few shades of grey with different looks. Good luck.

Grover any chance you can show me what it would look like with no railing and pulling the left side of the steps a bit more to the left (towards the end of the window) i was just looking at greige color schemes and I’m feeling super over whelmed. looks like a darker warm brown with a light grey compliments and contrasts with each (went through your color schemes) so now im thinking... the silver traverntine for the top of the steps and the top of the porch with a more brown stack stone color for the pillar, and light post? Or should I reverse it? Make a darker slate for the top of the porch/steps and a lighter grey with warm tones for the stack stone? God... I’m going crazy

For what it’s worth …. § White tile might not be the best choice for your backsplash. Perhaps too high contrast with the black. Instead, you might consider a light-ish wood tone tile. Perhaps trying searching “reeded tile”. There are some Japandi tiles that might work for you. (Sorry, I lack the talent to link for you.) Odd suggestion: You could try this out with inexpensive rolls of white contact paper, and another of a wood tone/pattern. (This is just to assess if white is the way you want to go.) § As you know, your kitchen has lighting issues. If there aren’t lights in the underside of the niche over the cooktop, perhaps some could be added if you decide to make that area into storage. If the glass front cabinets don’t have lights inside, that is another potential place to add them. Maybe a visit to a lighting design store is in order. Good luck with your project.

I know you posted awhile ago but just in case you check back....I have had the same problem and know what you are going through! Sex is sooooo
painful I think I would rather go through labor and delivery first!!!!! My dh has been so supportive and patient but I think I have found an answer. I got a prescription from my Dr. for Estring. It is a ring you insert for 3 months and it delivers estrogen inside the vagina just for the dryness. I told the Dr. I would give it a try and she said if that didn't work for me I could try Vagifem, a tablet that you insert with a plunger that also is for the dryness. I finally feel like I have "targeted" something that will deal with just the problem of the dryness. I don't want to take oral HRT and I don't want to deal with messy creams. I have tried so many lubricants and none of them really help. I will post after a month or so to give opinion if it is working for me or not. Anyway, please know you are not alone and ask your Dr. about these products!!

SEX, I quit having any urge and don't care anymore. I think menopause has nipped my sexual urge altogether.
