Porn, by the by, can turn you on too if you take time to find what you like to hear and see. Trust me, its out there. Take time to get turned on if he won't do it. Fun is something that does wonders for everyone. Do different places. Do you have a yard or go camping? Tents can be fun. We set up one in our living room and played camping like kids once and had a great time. Consider that while the body might have problems (I have serious hip arthritis, for instance), the mind is the most important sex organ there is. Think about what made sex good in the past. Think about stuff you are intrigued by but never did. Imagine these things, find pics of them, watch videos if those are good. Read stories on the web or write ones of what you think would be the best sex night (a great candlelit bath with flowers, a nice night taking turns doing rubs, whipped cream on parts being licked off, pretend meeting for the first time somewhere, dirty talk, whatever) and make time to do them. Get with yout man and talk about it. If you have hope of seeing results, this can turn things around.

Adana, Hi. I have been coming to this forum for 4 years now and have posted several times about my menopause "journey". I was about to post tonight on my lack of libido in the hope that someone may have a suggestion.I'm getting to the end of my tether to be honest. Like you I take Vitamins D and B and I also take Vitamin E. These seem to have helped with a lot of the other symptoms of menopause but nothing is helping my non exsistant libido.It's been this way for at least 5 years.I can't believe my long suffering husband hasn't left me. He's only 45 (8 years younger than me) and he should have a healthy sex life. The thought of another year like this is depressing. I will be reading up on the L-tyrosine as I've never heard about it. I'm sorry I can't help but, knowing this forum as I do, there will be an answer from someone.

You said it. I do know productive members of society who smoke, and I know others who abuse their bodies with food, abuse their minds with television. It's not the guns killing people, it's the people killing people. That said, perhaps that is his one vice? If he works as hard as she says he does, he must need some time to relax. Also, is he a homeowner? I thought it was the OP's house. If it is, then expecting him to contribute and feel equal may be difficult. Have you tried interesting him in exercise? That gives a great natural high. Does he have hobbies you could share? If you're really not interested in being with him because he smokes, yet you knew he smoked, did not ever own a home, etc... prior to getting married, you set yourself up for failure. Don't blame him for your inability to change him. You married a bachelor who has the social and homemaking skills of a college student (no offense to college students!) He doesn't want to grow up. You already have. Invite him to grow up with you, or get out. You deserve more, and your kids deserve more. By the way, don't ever assume kids don't know what's going on. They will find out sooner or later, and you will have to reconcile the "don't do as I do (or DH does) but do as I say" and we know that never works. I'm sorry, but you said to be frank. Testosterone is only available by prescription. Anything non-prescription is, at best, something that works by a different mechanism altogether and at worst pure snake oil. "Natural" testosterone is the designation for the bioidentical, as opposed to synthetic (that methytestosterone), version. I do wish it had a better name, since the use of "natural" in a hormone context is so non-standard and confusing. This designation does however, according to my compounding pharmacist, convey the correct variety in a prescription. Judy, my experience with it is similar to yours. While the cream didn't turn me into the sex fiend of my husband's wildest fantasies, it did tune my overall sense of wellbeing and energy up a notch that had been missing on just estrogen and progesterone.
