I would like to thank everyone on this site!!!!!!! Even the newbies. You all may not realize the ideas that you give some of us, to either fix a problem or to start growing something new and weird. LOL. I love/hate some of your garden pics, as I live in an area that can get snow/frost in July. I can get real depressed looking at all those great gardens that you all have. LOL. But you keep giving me hope and desire to do better. I am trying to start a compost pile and it is because of you people. I will be trying some things to extend my growing season, and those Ideas have come from you, here on this wonderful site. So I give all of you a huge THANK YOU!!!!! I dont like all the pop-ups on this site though.

Like Karen, I always like to read every comment on a post--if you don't go back, you might miss some really good stuff. We've seen some of these posts head off on the funniest tangents like talking about "the bus" or "the old lady". And if I've asked a question, it's because I'd really like to know! If a post has gotten pretty old and suddenly pops up again, I may just glance at it to see who posted to it so late, but won't usually comment again, unless it's one of my posts and I need to acknowledge them. I used to try to mention each person's name that had commented on my post, but that is time consuming because I have to keep going back to see each one. So I may just say "thanks gals" or "thank you for all the sweet comments". This is supposed to be fun, so make it easy on yourself--we don't really have "rules". And don't get hurt feelings if you don't get lots of comments either--most of us love to make comments, but sometimes life gets in the way and we might not be able to. Doesn't mean we haven't enjoyed it or that it's not neat--we are just away from the computer, busy with other stuff, or maybe going through a rough time and not in the mood to respond right then. Candy, just do what feels comfortable to you--we're a pretty easy going bunch I think. ;o) Luvs

Thanks Rollie. The manufacturer's rep of our siding came out and he said that it was installed too tight. The boards were too close together. My builder took a reciprocal saw and cut the ends at each join that was buckling. He let that sit for a bit and it all flattened out again. He then put a few more screws in and will caulk when it gets warmer. He ordered a few more planks just in case we have to replace some of them in the future. The manufacturer didn't charge him for the extra planks. I thought that was nice of them. He also showed my builder how to gauge the distance between each board (use the edge of a carpenter's square). It turned out just fine. Did you see the frost pictures that were pink? That was a gorgeous day, the sunrise turned everything pink for about 20 minutes. I just love to look out my big windows and see the view.
