Actually no winner, I realised maybe we don't thank the people who help us Newbees, and experience Gardener as it is a never ending learning curve, enough.

So I thought we could do a Thank list, obviously some names will appear time and time again, but that is good as they have help us time and time again :)

the thank doesn't need to be that they saved your crop or anything, just say a picture, a post that made you laugh, someones failure that made you realise that at least I don't have that problem, someone's success that spurred you on, peoples ideas, constructions and Oh no! I have that bug too!, anything that inspired you.

this can also go for people questions, time and time again someone asked a question, which the answer helped me, without me lifting a finger :)

I am not going to name any name myself as I don't want to load the stone.

I will just say thanks everyone, I learn on every click of the mouse.

Fatamorgana is always helpful to everyone, very knowledgeable, and polite. She deserves a thank you as does Jonhughes, always helpful, nice, and gives good advice. You have a lot great people on this board and too many too mention.

Thanks everyone on this board. I don't have many success stories because I was rained out in Tennessee, attacked by the squash vine borer, and experimenting too much with too many new ideas, can't blame it all on the environment! I did compost this year with much more success, this board helped me find my soil type and how to fix it. But that's in the soil forum, same people giving advice there as here.

I've seen many threads where good advice was given and people hardly acknowledged it. I like your idea, yet someone will probably feel left out in a thread like this. I think that thanking individuals in the threads they've contributed to is great and probably would make the individual feel appreciated enough to do it again in other threads!

This is my Red Sensation. The back rose is 2 days older than the front two. I love it's color, and it's can stay pretty for a week. The scent is light, but I can blame the allergies on the lack of smell to my nose. And it always is the perfect partner for my other roses on my patio.

Vince...another Sam's Club tri-ply clad owner here. I compared my Sam's Club to my friends' All-Clad and the difference in the "cooking experience" is nada, zippo. The big difference is in the cost! I also lived for many years with my "purchased when I was newly married" Revere Ware. As I got older I decided that I must be a really good cook, since I was using less than stellar cookware and produced really good food. I coveted friends' top of the line cookware, but having a frugal side and being a veteran "shopper", was not ready to plunk down an arm and a leg on cookware that cost a small fortune. I knew I could do better, and researched, researched, researched. Long story short...you have proved that it's the nag that can keep up the pace to the finish line, rather than have a burst of speed and then poop out before the final bend. You'll love how it evenly holds the heat, how it gives you that delicious bit of fond, how it gently caresses your delicate sauces when necesary, how your pasta keeps on boilin'. I saw more films this past year than in any year in my memory. Four. Which isn't that many but its three to four more than most years for me. All of the ones that I saw ended up winning multiple awards. My favorite from this year was Blade Runner 2049, mostly since the original is one of my all time favorite movies and this long awaited sequel perfectly captured the feeling of the original and extrapolated it beautifully. I find it somewhat ironic that Dunkirk won awards for Sound Editing and Sound Mixing when my most vivid memory of the movie was that the sound was so painfully loud that it made the movie one of the worst movie experiences of my life. Three Billboards I mostly enjoyed for the performances, especially Frances McDormand. I had only seen one other "Best Actress" nominated films, but I had no doubt that Frances McDormand would win. Lastly I was initially pleased to see that "The Shape of Water" and its Director Guillermo del Toro were even nominated, usually movies that are viewed as science fiction are dismissed from consideration out of hand. I expected they might fob it off with some technical award or screenplay award, so I was surprised that it received two of the most prestigious awards.

I would like to thank everyone on this site!!!!!!! Even the newbies. You all may not realize the ideas that you give some of us, to either fix a problem or to start growing something new and weird. LOL. I love/hate some of your garden pics, as I live in an area that can get snow/frost in July. I can get real depressed looking at all those great gardens that you all have. LOL. But you keep giving me hope and desire to do better. I am trying to start a compost pile and it is because of you people. I will be trying some things to extend my growing season, and those Ideas have come from you, here on this wonderful site. So I give all of you a huge THANK YOU!!!!!

I dont like all the pop-ups on this site though.
